They ask you to queue at the door so they can serve you without the shop being packed as they keep the stock out back and the display/trying on uniform out front. Would be nice if it was cheaper as £17.99 for a pack of 2 shirts is quite a lot and £20 for a skirt adds up after 2 kids.”

“Had a fitting with Francesca on the 8th October and I can't speak more highly of her service. Going into the appointment I was a little nervous as I hadn't had a fitting in years aswell as the fact my body had changed over the pandemic, so I was learning to love my new body with the help of some retail therapy. She made me feel comfortable straight away, acted professional when it came to adjusting and picking the right size and gave me some useful tips along the way. During the appointment she made me aware she was new and I couldn't believe it! She was such a natural when it came to customer service and selling the garments. “Me and my Mum made a trip to Southampton especially to go to the baby department at John Lewis as I'd been recommended. I'd been really struggling as everything seems to be online now but especially as a first time Mum I wanted to have some advice on what to buy and I wanted to be able to feel fabrics etc. The ladies in the baby/nursery department were so helpful, I couldn't recommend it enough. I needed a few things, but mainly went for a baby carrier as I'd been told you really need to try them on. I wish I got her name but the lovely lady I spoke with was so helpful. I tried on multiple carriers and in the end went for something that I hadn't looked at online. Not only were the ladies in the baby department really helpful, but I needed new underwear as I'm 22 weeks pregnant, and the ladies in that department were really helpful in showing me what I needed for comfort etc too. We had lunch in the cafe and there was a good choice in there. The ham baguette I had was really nice and the bread tasted lovely and fresh. On top of all of that, while I was in the changing rooms my Mum was trying on shoes and accidentally left her orthopedic insoles in a pair of shoes and she didn't notice until she got home and took her shoes off! She lives around an hour and a half away from Southampton, so it wasn't a case of just being able to pop back and collect them. She spoke to someone in the branch over the telephone and they not only took the time to find them for her, but they were also posted back to her. We both felt that everyone in store was so unbelievably helpful, and haven't experienced customer service like that in such a long time. We'll definitely be going back there.”

“This is a really fantastic M & S to visit. Everything is so well organised and spaced out. Plenty of clothes and lots of beautiful looking food, nice and modern fresh looking style. There is a cafe, also a nice place to sit to get fresh pizza in 5 minutes, and it was lovely! Quite a jem even for a quick visit to be honest”

“I love Zara as a brand and I love the shop in Southampton! Staff tries their best to keep the shop tidy and nice to the eye! Of course during sales time probably better to visit late or during the week days as it can become very chaotic as too many clients and long queues at the till which I must say they try to manage really well!”

“Love this charity shop, always had really good stock, and fantastic prices. i never left empty handed. the staff were always friendly and held a good conversation when serving.The shop was clean and tidy, and the clothes were never unorganised. only down side is the changing area is a little small.”

“Nice little red cross shop located in the back of the village hall. Open from 10:00 to 16:00 on most days (except Sunday and Saturday), filled with stuff which is cheap and in good condition. Staff were friendly too. This place also accepts donations”
