Black Horse
● Closed“This place has really taken a huge upward turn since the removal of the former manager and is now surely the only pub in Barnet to frequent. The food here is phenomenal, the Sunday roast is by far the best in the area and there’s a quiz night every Wednesday, what’s not to like? A special mention goes to the fantastic staff who are all warm, welcoming human beings with a great energy that have put the Black Horse right back where it should be.”

The only thing that I didn't like was how cold the toilets were.... the hand washing water was icy cold, and the drier was blowing out even colder air! Apart from that, it was a lovely Christmasy afternoon, and we will definitely be going back”

It was a bank holiday but thankfully the kitchen was already open, so we ordered our standard for pubs which is Fish & Chips. The Morpeth Arms
● Closed“Strongly recommend! After visiting Tate Britain I was looking for a nice pub to end a London weekend trip with some fish & chips, this was even better than I hoped. The food was super good, you can tell the products used are fresh, my fries were very well cooked (and I live in Belgium so I should know!) and the fish was delicious. My boyfriend’s meal was very good as well. Slightly more expensive than pubs nearby but it’s worth it.”
