"Have the great fortune to be out here for a night away before a large birthday party ; great bar, great meals and wonderful staff. It is of course our in the village so be aware it's not a simple walk from the station up the hill but in spring and summer and autumn I imagine it's a wonderful stroll"

"Brilliant, this is the one word I’d use to describe this place if asked to sum it up in one word. From the moment we stepped in they were friendly and welcoming, asking me if they could get my giant dog some water. Then following up by do we want water. We were a party of twelve and they were so attentive and looked after our every need. The food was incredible and collectively we nearly ordered everything on the menu due to our varying tastes. There wasn’t one complaint from anyone, every dish was pure perfection, they definitely market themselves towards the more fine dining pub experience and hit the nail on the head. I can’t tell you how impressed I was and I count myself as having good taste. The staff were so friendly and brilliant, I wish I’d got their names, they were fun and had a bit of banter but also really knew how to look after us, one was a young women with Black hair and the other was a bald guy and if you are the manager reading this please tell them about this review. We have been here a few times and even though they have impressed us every time this was impressive due to the sheer size of the group."

"Met friends here after 3 years away in the UK. This is everything I love about a modern pub: warm service, lively local atmosphere, good wine program, and delicious hearty food. Highly recommend the chicken & chorizo pie if on the menu, and fish & chips were top notch."

"Came here for a wake after coming back from a funeral service. We were allowed to rent out the whole pub for the whole afternoon and we all had a great time there. Food was nice and there was a large selection of drinks. Lots of friendly and professional staff. Recommended for families having lunch, or just visiting the bar! Very good location, right outside Wimbledon common."
