"New chat The Punchbowl, located in the heart of London's Mayfair district, is a charming and historic pub that exudes old-world charm. Dating back to the 18th century, this traditional English pub has a fascinating history that's worth exploring. The building has served as a popular watering hole for artists, writers, and other luminaries of London's bohemian scene. The pub's interior is cozy and inviting, with wooden paneling, low ceilings, and vintage furnishings that transport you back in time. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the pub's history and the drinks on offer. Speaking of drinks, The Punchbowl boasts an extensive selection of spirits, wines, and beers, including a rotating selection of local and international craft beers. The pub is particularly famous for its wide range of whiskies, which includes rare and hard-to-find bottles from around the world. As for the food, The Punchbowl serves up classic pub fare with a modern twist. The menu features a range of delicious dishes, from fish and chips and steak and ale pie to grilled sea bass and vegetable risotto. The portions are generous, and the presentation is elegant and refined. The pub also has a private dining room that's perfect for intimate dinners and special occasions. In conclusion, The Punchbowl is a must-visit pub for anyone looking to experience the best of London's pub culture. With its rich history, cozy ambiance, and delicious food and drinks, this is a pub that will leave a lasting impression on you. So whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal, a refreshing pint, or a rare dram of whisky, The Punchbowl has got you covered. Highly recommended!"

"Historic and well maintained pub tucked away in a relatively quiet corner of Mayfair. The bar staff were welcoming and the overall space has clearly been lovingly restored. There are open spaces as well as tucked away private nooks. Good choice of ales too."

"Gem of a pub hidden away in the heart of Mayfair. Can be a more eclectic crowd than one might expect. Early evening rush seems to calm down quite quickly. Key positives included an excellent cask IPA, hearty and high quality food. However, it was the helpful and welcoming staff that contributed most to a great evening."
