"Halfway between Stockwell and Brixton tube this place is easy to get too. I went to see some live music and the pub has a stage down one side. They have a large variety of drinks and the staff were both fast and nice as well, you won't wait ages to get served. They have a food offering but I did not try this. There is a garden to the rear which was busy with plenty of seating. Loos were clean and everything worked. I knocked one star off simply as the lighting for the stage could be improved though it's way better than some other places I have been too. Overall a really nice pub that if you passing is well worth popping into"

"Good pub with a very good beer selection. Has a little stage area for presumably live acts. Service was fine and staff were friendly. Only issue was the place was a bit cold due to the weather, but I can imagine it being glorious in the summer. Our main reason for visiting was to try the pizza (PickyWops have currently taken over the kitchen). It was absolutely delicious (we got the protein punch and a greenman with stuffed crust) and the trek to Brixton worth it. That said, if we lived closer we'd definitely visit more often just for drinks; the place has a very nice vibe :)"

"Good as always and more. The pizza is delicious and doesn't spend ages to arrive. The drinks are average London price, but goog quantity. Clean and with many seats and tables. There is live music every Sunday. Variable genre, but mainly funky, ska and Jazz. Really suggested."
