Tudor Rose Coulsdon
● Closed“All the food was really good and the service was very friendly. The atmosphere was also really nice. The flowers on the tables were real instead of dusty plastic ones like I usually see in pubs. My partner really likes fried squid but had struggled to find a place that really nails it: crispy but not overcooked and not rubbery. This place had the perfect fried squid. We loved everything else we got as well: fried brie (pictured), chicken Caesar salad, sticky chicken, chips, and scallops.”

The Castle
● Closed“Really lovely Sunday roast and managed to have a gluten free roast too which was delicious! The manager (not sure what his name was, just know he was from Cyprus!) and the waiter were so accommodating with my allergy. Love it here so much and so happy to live just around the corner!”
-
The Three Crowns
● Closed“Excellent pull down screen and loud, clear speakers for watching live sports. The beer selection is reasonable, with enough options to for everyone to find something to their liking, and the decor and general atmosphere is homely, upbeat and lively. The cheesy fries were far too cheesy for us, however, with the bottom being more akin to the taste and texture of the sauce you’d find in Mac and cheese.”

The Barley Mow
● Closed“First time coming to this pub - what a lovely pub!! Lovely staff, amazing atmosphere, can't wait to come back. JESS is so lovely and welcoming. The staff really make it.”
-

The Old Ivy House

Weavers Arms
● Closed“This is a proper boozer. One of the few remaining in London. Tracey and Adam behind the bar will make you feel welcome and the prices are amazingly low! Pool table, music, live sport. What more could you want!?! Fully recommend the Guinness too, which is even rarer!”

The Salisbury Arms
● ClosedHoppers Road, London N21 3NP, United Kingdom“They had very limited dishes as we missed Sunday lunch so ordered the fish and chips. It was delicious and crispy. Plus, this is the only pub I know that sells my favourite red wine 19 crimes. So 5 stars all over. Service is great too. They are quick and on the ball which means the bar isn't clogged with people waiting to be served. There's a car park opposite which requires your car registration in the pub.”

Bull & Gate
● Closed“Went here for a delicious Sunday roast. Great for families as they also have a kids menu and crayons. Very nice service and great pub atmosphere”
-
Spread Eagle, Camden
● Closed“My favourite pub in Camden, I’ve been coming here for years. None of the crowds or noise that ruin so many of the other pubs around here. Staff are always friendly and helpful; a few years ago I accidentally dropped my wallet here and they had it waiting behind the bar when I came back the next day looking for it! I love that you can order directly from your table with a QR code, or go to the bar, whichever is your choice. There’s always a place to sit and they have a lovely area upstairs. They also do an excellent range of spritzers in the summer! I come here whenever I’m in the area.”
-

The Crown Limehouse
● Closed667 Commercial Road, London E14 7LW, United Kingdom“You’d struggle to find pubs like this in London today. Decades ago they were all over but now a place like this is a destination pub. Cosy, carpet, friendly, affordable… I’d like to visit again.”

● Closed“Came on a Thursday night and it was top draw. Drag bingo going on in the background, which sounded very well received. However I’m here to talk about the food: the pizza was excellent, but the buffalo wings were absolutely superb! Honestly some of the best I’ve had in London - and I know my wings! Bravo”

The Founder's Arms
● Closed“Loved this place! Had the best chicken and ham pie I’ve ever tasted. My husband had fish and it was so big it hung over each end of the plate. Friendly staff and good service and we ate on the outside terrace overlooking the Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral. Highly recommended for the amazing food”
-
The George
● Closed40 Tower Bridge Road, London SE1 4TR, United Kingdom“Proper boozer, loved visiting. Beer varied but keg rather than cask. Courage nest was on, the option! However, wonderful people behind the bar and a lovely welcome to the stranger. Thank you and I encourage you to visit and enjoy the eastend”
-
The Old Brewery
● Closed“It was a beautiful day, so we stopped here after cycling for a short break and coffee. The surrounding area is peaceful. A lot of outdoor seating and no step access - good wheelchairs and buggy’s. If you sitting on the outer section, you have river views too. WCs are clean and spacious. Table service possible via the QR code on the table. We didn’t eat but the food that came out to other tables looked lovely. Will be back to eat and revisit. Close enough to the hassle and bustle of the main thoroughfare.”
-
Ladywell Tavern
● Closed“Not far from the station, plenty of room inside and out. They do, do food, but I didn't eat on this occasion. Very wide selection of drinks, service is pretty good. The bar staff are nice and friendly. Which helps to add to the vibe of the place.”
