“Had a fantastic evening there. Staff were excellent and the food was lipsmackingly good. Tried the allo chaat, gol guppa and the samosa chaat for starters and loved the samosa chaat the most. The lamb chops were recommended to me by Sunny but I went for the Shank. Such a mistake!!!.... Not because the shank wasn't good but tried some of the lamb chops from my friend and it is to die for. Daal Bukhara was also fantastic. But the Paan ice-cream was mind blowing. Grew up eating both , Paan and ice cream , but never tasted Paan ice-cream. Fantastic”

“Authentic Chinese food...plenty of seats, friendly staffs, nice environment. All the noodles are equally good, although the portion can be bigger. Will come back again to try out other food. They will give a dessert for free if we can write an online review on the spot and show it to them, which is why there are so many reviews.”

“One of my favourite pubs. Previously I've been for a Sunday roast, which is incredible, but this time it was just for some drinks and a snack. They always have a solid range of beers on tap, but if you're more into wine, they have a great selection of natural wines. Not a huge venue, so be prepared to sit in the beer garden just outside. Either way, it's worth a visit.”

“Ordered a 3 course Sunday lunch which I collected. Starters was a prawn cocktail with focaccia and butter followed by roast beef, roast turkey, massive yorkshire pudding, 5 separate veggies, including honeyed parsnips and lashings of gravy. Followed by lemon meringue and ice cream, which we ate a couple of hours later. My wife said it was the best roast she had ever had, and I had to agree. Well done the Chequers Inn at Heaverham”

“First time visit, friendly greeting, drinks order taken shortly after arriving, drinks arrived quickly. Food arrived quickly after ordering, good size portions and very hot. I had the chicken curry, very tasty, not hot but nice kick. The good lady had scampi and chips, large portion, and the chips were still hot when she had finished, quite unusual. Shared a pudding good size portion. Only negative was very noisy as restaurant is near the bar area but understandable as was Friday night and the establishment was very busy. Has not put us off wanting to go back again.”
