The Plough Inn
“Unbelievable service here, very attentive and engaging the food was TO DIE FOR. Only minor was the sharing steak (pictured) we felt should have chosen a larger size as we both thought it wasn't QUITE big enough, our fault, not theirs. The wine (pictured) is some of the best I've ever tasted as is the garlic bread starter (pictured). Will definitely be returning but at over £200 for 3 people probably only for special occasions. Thank you again to the staff here, truly exceptional!”
The Three Horseshoes Restaurant & Pub Radlett
“Went there to celebrate my birthday with my family. What a lovely evening. Food was great, lovely wine(Viognier) and the service was excellent. The manager there is fantastic, he really looked after us and I must say I cannot praise him enough. That is what service should be like in a world where a lot of businesses have taken their eye off the ball regarding looking after the customer. Thank you again for a lovely evening.”
The Black Lamb
“We were so pleased with the black sheep today - what an awesome new addition to the village. Service was excellent and the food (starters and roasts) were delicious and well executed. Nutbourne wines were great as well. We are so delighted to have another superb restaurant in town. Thanks for the lovely Father’s Day treat.”
The Queens Head
“A nice Sunday Lunch after a stroll around the scenic surroundings that Downe has to offer, cosy feel pub, with a big open fire to warm up beside, lovely food, good value for money, and pleasant staff, all washed down with a glass or two of wine!”
The Pied Bull
“I used to be a regular drinker at the Pied Bull before moving away. I returned this weekend and was very pleased to see that the place is still as welcoming and friendly as ever, with fab staff, delicious food and plenty of drinks options. It's dog friendly so my two cockapoos enjoyed the visit too, with lots of fuss from the welcoming staff and even a treat or two! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm next in the area!”
The Rabbits Pub and Restaurant
“Booked last minute after trying to find somewhere locally for a roast. Can only say wow, most definately the best roast we have had out in a long time! Delicious. Not cheap but where is nowadays. Highly recommend.”

Temple Brew House
“The Temple Brew House should be your next evening out in town. The food was delicious and the drinks were fab, all reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and approachable! The venue looked great and most importantly had such a great atmosphere! A little music would have been nice as background noise, though this may just have been off as there was a game on the TV, however this did not detract from the evening!”
Cafe Olé
“I just had breakfast with my friend in cafe ole. Breakfast was delicious coffee was awesome and the costumer service of the staff especially Raffi was amazing. I highly recommend it!”

The Wheatsheaf
“Lovely small pub, with exemplary bar stuff. Full of locals who knew each other and had tabs open... but the atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming they were a friendly bunch. Beer was good they had local "Shere Drop" which was lovely and well kept. It was not a cluttered pub with plenty of space between furniture and a beer garden. It was a football night when we visited but the fans were friendly and not too loud.”
The New Inn Ham Common
“Lovely traditional pub, situated next to Ham Common and close to Richmond Park. This family run pub offered up a great selection of beers and ales as well as a nice food menu. The staff were great and very attentive, and the food arrived quickly. The portion was generous and the food overall was nicely presented and tasty”
The Castle Inn, Ealing
“The staff are so friendly and welcoming, especially the landlord. It's a great pub to pop for a drink with friends and the "secret garden" is a lovely retreat from the business of life, especially in the summer.”
The Old Pack Horse, Chiswick
“My favourite pub in London which as a Chiswick local I am blessed to have here. A Fullers pub run by Mike and his well picked team who really know what they are doing. Expect warm welcome, nice crowd of all sorts of Londoners coming together over a great selection of Fullers beers and great Thai food. There are unique guest ones on tap rotated often and they always have crisp cold Asahi larger to wash down the best Thai food in London. Dogs are welcome like all good London pubs, our have developed a taste of Thai food and as a result, they always drag us there. Thai restaurant at the back if you are not a dog lover and want a restaurant setting for your night.”
