“Went there to celebrate my birthday with my family. What a lovely evening. Food was great, lovely wine(Viognier) and the service was excellent. The manager there is fantastic, he really looked after us and I must say I cannot praise him enough. That is what service should be like in a world where a lot of businesses have taken their eye off the ball regarding looking after the customer. Thank you again for a lovely evening.”

“Nice big wetherspoons which is due to close soon apparently. Haven't been here for about 20 years and I must say, things have improved a great deal- thank goodness. The staff were polite and friendly- I think everyone I saw was smiling. There was a good crowd in but the service did not suffer. My wrap and chips for lunch were lovely and the Guinness was excellent. I'm sure this pub will be missed”

We have found this to be the perfect place to have a coffee and a chat with others going through the same life-changing challenges we all face when losing a loved one. The staff here are very friendly and always make us feel welcome.”
