"The place itself is very nice. Nice to have an ocean front property. The pool is nice and warm and is hardly busy. The people staying here all seem really nice. We are staying in condo 201. Not my favorite condo I've ever stayed in. We had a cockroach come in today. Yuck. Trapped it in the shower and had to find a worker to come get it out. The ceiling fans switch in the living room is broken so it is constantly running. The bedroom is very small no drawer space in bedroom for clothes. The furniture and bed are comfy though. There are lots of dishware. If you use a mobility scooter I wouldn't recommend this room. It is very hard to get in the room because of the tight corner in the hall."

"Stay away from Kahana Reef # 301 unless they renovate it. Also don't rent thru Chasing Rainbows...the combo will make your dream vacation a nightmare!!! Hard to imagine having a worse experience. The unit we rented was horrible (#301 Kahana Reef). A partial list of items that were wrong or didn't work are: Microwave, NO SMOKE DETECTORS--post fire, lanai door hardly opened, drapes hanging down, stove ventilation and ice maker broken, outdoor furniture ripped and fraying, internet & TV. The bedroom is so small and NO suitcase valets because there is no room other than the living room to put luggage. Bare minimum with ONLY salt and pepper and NOTHING else provided. 1 dish towel, thread bare linens, no garbage disposal and no closet space (their stuff was in the only closet). After 2 days or our calling, they brought a microwave and put up smoke detectors, and put the lanai lounger in the trash...but the TV never worked. I fixed the internet. I was promised 3 times Jason the manager would call me...he NEVER did. Our dream stay in Maui was a nightmare. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. LOTS OF EXCUSES AND MINIMAL ACTION. The 10% discount they offered for our inconvenience doesn't even begin to pay for the time I spent trying to get the basics fixed."

"We stayed at the unit 408 which is on the top floor at the corner- very private. It has fabulous views of ocean and islands. Perfect sunset and sunrise from the balcony where you can easily spot sea animals: turtles and whales. Unit is well designed with modern deco and contemporary furniture. The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable king bed. Love seat and a lounge chair are on the balcony to enjoy the view. Stylish sofa is in the living room with soft pillows. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. A very quiet resort in a village like place and yet close to a lot nice beaches, restaurants and resorts of Kapalua and Kaanapali. We booked the unit via my perfect stay which has very nice staff to work with and also less expensive than booking through VRBO or Airbnb."

"Wonderful location, with beautiful views. Well-maintained building and grounds. Perfect spot for turtle watching and whale watching. Just a short walk to a very nice beach. Permanent tenants were very friendly."
