"I rented a room through Maui Properties, and the view from the room made the whole trip. This is thee greatest view of any place I have vacationed. The sound of the waves is loud but in the best way. The light rattling of the palms, the surf meeting the kava rocks, makes it a place where you can sit and just listen for hours. The only bad part about the room was the fold out sofa. It's a back killer and needs to be replaced. I would not count on sleeping anyone on it. We ended up taking the cushions from the sofa on the frame, then putting the mattress on top, and that made it tolerable. The resort and staff are wonderful. The view and beach are 11/10."
"Check In: After-hours check-in was simple. You call the number at the checkout desk and a security guard will arrive within minutes and check you in. Parking: There was plenty of parking at it was free. Throughout the week I never had any trouble finding a parking spot, however on the east side of the property it gets pretty full in the morning from non-resort guests parking to eat at the Gazebo restaurant. The Condo: The condo was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and functional. We did not have any issues with the appliances and everything worked well. The kitchen is stocked with most basic cooking equipment as well as a range stove and oven. There were air conditioning units in the bedroom and living room but we did not need them - we opened all the louvre windows at night and the steady breeze from the trade winds kept the room comfortable and cool. The Grounds: The property was beautiful. Hats off to the groundskeepers. The resort essentially a botanical garden and filled with beatiful plant life. There are two pools - one at the north end by the office and another at the south end by the beach. Both of them were quiet and relaxing during our stay. There were two restaurants on the property - The Gazebo, which serves breakfast and lunch (but no alcohol) - and Kitchen 5315, which serves dinner (and alcohol). The food at both these establishments was great. Kitchen 5315 did seem to have inconsistent hours and was occasionally closed during their posted business hours. The Staff: I interacted with two staff members during my visit and both were kind and went out of their way to give me recommendations about things to eat/see/do to make the most of my visit. The Location: The resort is steps away from Napili Beach, which is one of my favorite beaches in Maui. The beach is great for snorkeling and afternoon sun. We watched the sunset from the beach several of the nights we were there. The resort is close to a paved coastal walking trail that passes several resorts and beaches and offers incredible views of the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The resort is also within walking distance of several other resort attractions (The Slack Key show) and restaurants that we visited. If I had to do it all over again, I would come back to Napili Shores. And I probably will if I'm ever on this side of the planet again."
"Have the stars fire location only because they activities we wanted to do, hiking, snorkeling, whale watching, birthday gardens, etc were on the south side of they island. This is great location off tooth after interested in just the beach, pool and sunset. Had dinner hiking trails. It's a nice family friendly place though sounds proofing use very poor. They do have signs posted for quite houses but patients don't always follow that. You can clearly hear phone conversations from your bedroom. Does have a restaurant onsite and ample free parking. Great views from the property and easy access to nice clean beaches."
"The location was great, right next to the beach, the resort itself was very clean. The private security guard who checked us in when we arrived late was very friendly, offered us something to eat and even gave us tips on where else we could find something to eat. However, there is no daily room service. The room was large and comfortable, but unfortunately the kitchen was barely equipped. There is no washing up liquid to clean the pans or salt for cooking. Nevertheless, a great stay!"
"My studio was lovely, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was really great, quiet and beautiful. The resort has access to one of the best beaches, Napili Bay! It's time, though, for some upgrades. I had a couple of issues. But the staff was excellent about addressing and correcting them quickly! BONUS HERE... they charge NO resort fees or parking!!!"
