"Our stay at this hotel has been nothing short of exceptional. While it may come with a higher price tag, the experience is truly worth every penny. The beachfront location offers stunning views and easy access to the ocean. The onsite restaurant serves delicious meals, and the staff members are friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to a mall, which is within walking distance, and several other quality restaurants makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious and enjoyable stay."

"This is one of the most beautiful properties in Maui. Multiple pools for families, separate pools for adults, and the beach is literally right there. Multiple activities that are free for adults and kids, and plenty of others you can pay for. Very much the resort type hotel with lots going on. A few negatives, if you are an Elite Marriott member, don’t both using your Suite Upgrade nights hoping you will get a bigger room. At best, you’ll get an ocean view but IMO, not worth it as how often are you just hanging out in your room looking out the window? They also have no Titanium or Ambassador elite perks aside from the basics. Also, the food options on property are basic. Breakfast is the same, pool side food isn’t super family friendly, and even the nice restaurant is the same menu as the pool side menu, so gets redundant fast. Other than that, this place is magical. You are RIGHT NEXT to Whalers Village which has three of the best restaurants on the island, you will truly feel like you are on vacation the second you pull into the valet."

"The Westin Maui Resort & Spa is a beautiful tropical resort, with a large water feature as its main focal point on the grounds. There are Koi ponds, flamingos, parrots and waterfalls. Three dining options featuring island fusion cuisine are on offer, and each is of varying quality. Ulu's was still rather new on our visit, and the menu was rather limited. The market was nice for quick pickups on the way to the pool, though "hot foods" aren't very hot. The center bar area has delicious food at astonishingly high prices for the portions ($19 for a single waffle with no sides) at breakfast, but a great lunch and dinner menu, also available as room service. There are also three pools (they say 4 on the site). On the upper terrace, there is an 18+ pool (for noise, not clothing) as well as hot tubs. This is also where you can enter the large water slide that exits into 4' waters in one of the two lower pools. This lower pool includes two waterfall features and an attached wading pool for kids with its own water slide. This wading pool is probably the "fourth" pool from their listing, but it shares water with the other pool, so it's the same pool. Another pool (the third pool) is available to the ocean side of the water slide pool and is deep enough and long enough for short laps. Note to parents: the slide in the wading pool exits to 1'6" deep water which is perfect for individual kids to go down. If you go down with them, you will bruise your butt on the vinyl floor of the pool, trust me. The other pools are 4' deep. Being next to Whaler's Village, there are plenty of shopping and dining options, however, it does add a lot of noise for "ocean view" rooms on the north side of the property. in the late evenings (til 11pm) and early mornings (5am) there is live music and delivery trucks, and the waves can be louder than expected. The other note I'll add, there's not much of a beach directly in front of the property, and the beach just to the north has some of the windiest conditions in Ka'anapali, however, there is a very wide beach just to the south in front of the Marriott."
