Applewoods Apartments

"I loved living at Applewoods Apartments! Very quiet and everyone is very nice, including the staff and maintenance guys. Plus, it has an elevator and heated underground parking! The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was such a great size for my son and I and you cannot beat the great bedroom sizes! I highly recommend!"

"I enjoyed my time living at Applewoods Apartments. The most important thing is that management has always responded to my emails and calls in a timely manner. Management has been understanding and lenient with my personal situations and has provided negotiation with my lease. Maintenance also responds to requests in a very timely manner and are very kind. The parking lot held lots of space and it made it easy not having to worry about parking and things such as towing."

"I lived at Applewoods Apartments for a year and quite honestly they don't even deserve a one star rating I would highly recommend staying far away. Everything was smooth and I was treated with respect until about 6 months into the lease. Throughout my experience here many questionable and disrespectful things occurred (management never being on site, dark and dirty hallways, rude and not helpful messages from maintenance and management staff, and many times the building was not inviting to guests or prospective renters). I had called numerous times about a snag in the carpet in a doorway and it was never fixed instead I was charged for it. I was very honest with them that there was damage in one of the doorways and that I would like it fixed and it was not fixed. When I moved out there was never a move out check done on the apartment with me. On top of this, the elevator (which was the only mode for many occupants to get in and out of the building) was always broken or in maintenance. This being a violation against the American Disability Act which states, "landlords are required to make 'reasonable accommodations' for a renter with a physical disability." With the elevator broken, it made it hare for individuals to access, use, and enjoy the amenities of this apartment. They didn't keep good records to even know the status of the apartment when I moved in. Therefore they charged me outlandish charges for things that were completely unnecessary and that were completed upon move out. They withheld my deposit that I should have gotten back plus charged me more on top of it. I am incredibly disappointed in the service that I have received from Applewoods Apartments. I regret ever living there. They took so much of my money that I will never get back. I am not a horrible renter, I keep to myself and am quite. At the end of the day, Apple Valley is a beautiful area to live. Schools, parks, stores, and entertainment near by. Look closely before visiting or signing a lease with this apartment."

"I've lived here a year and am looking forward to signing on for another year. The apartment building is really quiet and well maintained and the residents are pleasant. The individual units are nice---I especially love the bay windows! The units are a little smaller than many places, but they are designed in a smart way that make them functional and feel bigger than many apartments with more square footage. Having underground parking is a great perk as well. Maintenance is skilled and responded quickly to my after-hours request for help. Anne and Susan have been easy to work with and promptly answer questions/concerns. I would definitely recommend Applewoods if you are looking for a new place to call home."

"My little guy and I have lived here for going on 7 years and couldn't be happier. I have experienced constantly clean, friendly, quiet neighbors and attentive, accessable property management with speedy responses to everything I have needed. The location is convenient to so many stores and restaurants. The school district has been great. Well maintained property, indoors and out. I would highly recommend this building if what I described is what you are looking for."
