Hue STL

"I was a resident since the building opened. It’s sad to see the way things have gone downhill since the newest management took over a little over a year ago. Towards the end of my tenancy, amenities were always broken and management showed little to no concern for getting them fixed. There were constant issues with lease renewals, building repairs, glitches with the online portal preventing residents from paying rent for months at a time, and safety concerns. The onsite management team was hardly responsive to many of these issues. Residents paid for gated secure parking, although there were numerous garage break-ins and property theft just in the last year alone due to a frequently broken garage gate. Somehow, people who were neither residents nor guests of residents were gaining access to the building due to faulty doors and security systems. The overall quality of the building has also greatly declined, largely due to an incompetent, unorganized, lazy, and understaffed property management team. As many others have noted in previous reviews, I also had issues getting my deposit back months after I moved out. Security deposits are required to be returned within 30 days of move out per Missouri law, which management has violated on too many occasions. After numerous follow up attempts and having to reach out to the corporate team, I finally got it back and I couldn’t be more relieved to no longer have to communicate with this company. The first few years of my tenancy were great prior to the newest management team taking over. It seems that I am not alone in feeling this way, evident by all the negative reviews left primarily within the last year since the switch took place. It is no surprise that so many residents are moving out due to how bad things have gotten, but I hope with some improvements that Chroma/Hue can be half of what it once was in the future."

"Couldn’t ask for a better sense of community than at Hue/Chroma! Since moving in I have felt completely welcomed with open arms. Everyone has been so kind and friendly. I’m so happy to be a resident here! Many thanks to the leasing team- Anna, Kyle & Alex for making my transition to STL so seamless. The amenities are amazing but the best part has been the friendships I’ve made in the short, few weeks I’ve been here."

"I've lived at Hue for a little over a month now and couldn't agree more with the rest of the reviews here! I would also add that both Chroma and Hue have an amazing attention to detail and overall cleanliness. I toured quite a few places in STL before deciding to move here and I could not say the same about any other place. I've seen my fair share of "luxury" apartments in the past and this stands out above them all. I can honestly say this will probably be the nicest apartment complex I'll ever live in! I will say I did have a maintenance request within my first week but they we're on it the next day and all their staff are super friendly and willing to help out! The Grove has been a blast to explore so far and for someone who is new to STL like myself the location could not be better!"

"So here is my honest review of HUE STL after being a resident for 2 weeks now. First and foremost, it goes without being mentioned. The leasing agents and management up front are superb in everything they do. From the moment I walked in before I was a resident, they treated me like one. They make the process very simple and stress free when it comes to finding your new home! Applications, touring, submitting deposits & things alike are all seamless transactions here. Anna P was my agent and she really made sure I was 100% satisfied before concluding anything. That says a lot about the staffs willingness to help people. Anna was very knowledgeable about all the amenities and activities on the property. She constructs these events herself so she is the go to person for info! As far as my living experience, it has been nothing but the best. My apartment is brand new. The Air is fresh and clean and all of my neighbors are friendly. We have an unspoken communication through doormats. Lol. It’s only been 2 weeks but I am looking forward to many great times. Hope to welcome you to the HUE family soon!"

"When moving to St. Louis, I found that there were so many apartments to choose from. I decided on Hue because of the community aspect, amenities, and friendly staff during my tour. I'm so glad I chose Hue as a place to call home! Living in a brand new apartment means everything is very clean and welcoming. I start every day with the free Starbucks coffee, and the courtyard or my balcony are the perfect spots to end the day. All the residents are friendly and outgoing, and being within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and bars comes in handy. I highly recommend touring this apartment to get a glimpse of the great community in a perfect location!"
