"Stars for Maintenance staff. Heater always breaks in the coldest days, when I mean it’s 10 degree or even worse. And air conditioning doesn’t work in the hottest days. Price is really high considering the apartment and comparing with spray menus nearby. Please don’t stay here!"

"Ian is such a wonderful young man who hosts these fantastic events at the Dorchester! They are usually themed, with great food, and generally turn up 60-70 individuals. He is such a gregarious young man with a very bright future!"

"Do not live here!! Far too expensive for the quality. I lived here for two years and the heat never works. They frequently turn off the water with no notice. The laundry room is disgusting. They never own up to their mistakes and continue to treat the residents as just a number. Right after I renewed my lease for the second year, it became student housing for Wash U. A nightmare for someone who chose this place knowing the typical resident was older than a college aged person. This quiet atmosphere was great the first year and was important for my online job. However, they allowed almost 200 students to move in within a week and never contacted the residents. The staff is rude and the maintenance people are disrespectful. One of the maintenance women called my husband a “son of a b” after he used the lobby bathroom, when she had just finished cleaning it. There are too many more things that happened over two years to mention."

"I love living here! The communication is outstanding. It is always clean and pretty quiet. The staff members are all friendly and receptive to hearing any issues residents are having. Maintenance staff fixes issues in a very timely manner. Mrs. Brenda, Mrs. Tammie, Mr. Julius, Mr. Derek, Mrs. Kafilat, Mr. Harry, Mr. Lawrence, and Mr. Patrick (just to name a view) all make this such a wonderful place to live! I very much recommend the Dorchester to any one, of any age, of any background. I couldn’t imagine a safer and more caring community!"
