"Updated 2/5/23: Complaints from downstair neighbor about being loud but it was 8:30 p.m., not even close to quiet hours. Mind you, he has an infant, and we have children as well, which is understandable on his part. But to complain that we are being loud at 8:30 p.m. is ridiculous. If you want peace and quiet, move upstairs. These are cheap apartments, you're gonna hear noise. I don't know what is going on with their maintenance staff, but we submitted a request to have our dryer looked at a month ago, and still haven't had anyone come yet. Apartment is old and dingy; mold in fridge lining and under cabinets. Appliances are incredibly old and not well-maintained. Check everything carefully and underneath everything before moving in. Washer/dryer smells horrible every time we use it...like wet, moldy water, and we requested new one when we moved here, but they refuse to replace it. Office staff is still friendly and offer freebies and fun activities for tenants. Updated 11/1/23: Pros: Nice neighbors, frequent fun activities/events for tenants, friendly office staff (just don't request anything extra from regular maintenance), good location, rooms and bathrooms are good size. Cons: No parking after 5 p.m. Lots of bugs in my building complex. OLD APPLIANCES! Smelly washer (even after using vinegar and special washer cleaning tablets and leaving washer door open). They refuse to replace washer. Old apartment in general (NOT worth the prize you pay). Lots of leaves and twigs in pool during pool season. Old review: The office staff needs improvement. They are nice to talk with and very polite, but the customer service and promptness is lacking a bit. They don't always reply to emails or they reply incredibly late like a few days to a week later. They don't seem interested in talking to you or getting work done promptly; everything seemed rushed. We waited a few weeks from when we applied to hear anything back. And then we uploaded our insurance, and still nothing until I had to email them about our lease. We didn't get any info about move-in day. Most apartment complexes provide you with move-in info and set up a time to get your keys and do walkthru. The apartment itself is a little dusty and cobwebby. But we appreciate that they installed new carpet right before our move. The appliances are incredibly outdated. There was some kind of brown stuff on the rubber in the washer. I don't know if it's mold or dirt. But it is clearly visible. The washer is the most outdated washer I've ever seen, like one from the 80s. I requested it to be cleaned or replaced because it shouldn't even be that dirty and gross before us moving in. They said they wouldn't replace the washer, but offered to come clean it with vinegar. TBD. I'm surprised how outdated the washer/dryer/stove is considering this place was more expensive than the other Price Brothers complexes nearby. Yes, I looked and got quotes before settling for this one. We also have lived in Stonebriar and Stonebriar Woods before (also Price Brothers), and the rent is cheaper and the appliances are way newer, especially the washer. We only chose this one because it was higher in price so I was thinking the appliances might be better, so I do have a little regret. Also we couldn't see the apt until we moved in, but was provided pics. Maintenance seems stressed when we spoke with them, but very pleasant to speak with. Maintenance guy said there's only two people on the team. Lots and lots of wasp nests on the patio and exterior of porch/front door. Lots of trees around our building, so you get shade, but also bugs. No linen closets. Bedroom closets are decent size. Storage is pretty nonexistent. There is a storage closet on the patio, which is great! Tubs, toilets, sinks, and floors are in decent condition. Not the newest, but also not the oldest and dirtiest. Windows are in good shape. Not many drawers in bathrooms. Kitchen is rather small. Fits too smaller adults simultaneously. I love that everything is on the shorter/lower size because I can actually reach cabinets."
"Very rude leasing office staff, not interested in showing the apartments. When I called them they just wanted to get me off the phone. No greetings to start with. I asked for seeing 2bd and 3bd apartments to which they straightaway said they don't have any and did not make any attempt to show us anything else to resemble what their apartments look like to have a idea. Did not ask any questions to look into our needs such as moving dates etc....just said they don't have anything without even asking what our moving date is. Looked like they did not want any more customers....so okay I am not going to visit them."
"Honeslty these were decent apartments. They were too expensive for what they were, especially the price they wanted to raise our rent to when the lease was up. Nothing fancy but the neighbors are nice enough and the location was good. The best thing about this place is they actually give you your deposit back when you move out which never happens anymore with these big rental companies. Parking is pretty bad for certain buildings and it seemed like someone was always leaf blowing outside which was annoying. Overall though I liked living here."
"10/10 would rent again if I were planning on renting! Good sized apartments, not fancy, but exactly what you need. The staff is helpful and kind and always remembers your name. The grounds staff is always working, and does a great job! The only downside is the parking. It is obvious these apartments were built for 1 apartment per car as they are older, and likely from a time when that was the norm... it is no longer the case. Loved the community!"
"I just have to say that this was the best apartment complex I’ve ever lived at. The office staff is phenomenal. Sherri, Priscilla, and Jillisa go above and beyond for all their residents. Even the maintenance staff and grounds are amazing! Only had a couple work orders and they were taken care of same day. Everyone is always so cheerful! I would highly recommend this apartment community to anyone. The staff here and the apartments themselves are amazing. The location to grocery and shopping centers is perfect too!!"
