Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park

"Couldve stayed at any hotel on my visit to Overland Park, but I chose this location again, and everything was the same as my previous visit. The staff is awesome as always. Since we are Members, we were scheduled for check-in @3pm, but was notified that our room was ready hours early, which was a huge plus because we didn't have to spend unnecessary money trying to pass time somewhere else while we waited. We asked for a playpen when we booked the room, but it wasn't one there when we made it to the room. Wasn't a problem at all for the staff to get one for us. Small things like that would me book a stay with this location anytime I travel to Overland Park. There wasn't any towels when we went to the pool, so we sent a text to the front desk. They were probably busy checking people in or other stuff, which isn't a problem, so I went to the front desk to let them know more towels were needed. The front desk attendant said she would bring them, and she did a short time later. The hotel is usually tidy any other time, but it was alot of guests staying this times for alot of events, so it was some things out of place or some trash here and there. They were on it though, because one minute you'll see something, and the next it's gone."

"Avoid if you are a business traveler. Will not be flexible if your itinerary changes, and will absolutely ding you for the fee. 10 year diamond and my plans change constantly. This is the first hotel in 10 years that didn't understand that and charged for the change. Probably resold the room any way. You've lost my business forever."

"The definition of Mid. Nothing remarkable, nothing really wrong. Needs an update. Continental breakfast is all carbs. Sofa had a huge tear in it. Elevators are painfully slow. Upon check-in the guy at the desk was too busy chatting to really help but did get me a key, so I guess that's the standard. If the price is good, book it. If not, pick any of the others."

"I've stayed at this hotel a couple times now and the best part about it is the staff. They are super helpful and kind. Luke helped me get checked in, in the middle of the night. I felt frantic as I had my children with me and a few obstacles on the way. But, he was very helpful which I so appreciated. The rooms are always clean. The entire hotel for that matter. But just a few things I noticed was our extra blanket for the pullout bed had holes in it. The toilet seat seemed to be peeling? Little weird. But other than that everything was great. The location is very convenient but a very busy area. We will be back and I would recommend this hotel any day of the week!"

"We came to KC for a family weekend and booked this hotel because of location and name. We felt confident with it being a Hilton that it would at minimum be clean and comfortable. The lobby is very well kept but once you get on the floor and in the room is a complete different story. The bedding was strained, the room had an incredibly strong smell of body odor, the halls were stained, carpeting in the room stained, the shower would only run hot if you had the sink running at the same time. We had booked two nights and ended up checking out immediately the morning after. I was told by the front desk that I would be contacted by someone in management and a week oater still haven’t heard from anyone. I don’t like posting bad reviews but for $200+ I would expect a clean environment and better customer service. Disappointed to say the least."
