Hampton Inn Kansas City/Overland Park

"This Hampton was fantastic. Staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and I actually slept very well which is not normal for me in hotels. Great water pressure in the shower, too with an actual high shower head. I didn’t partake in the breakfast as I had other plans for food, nor did I swim as it was February during my stay. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"This Hampton Inn seems like the others I've visited. The lobby has been renovated and appears bright and cheerful. With an overpowering aroma of air freshener, the management, however, appears to believe that it is that main sales floor for a new neighborhood being developed in Everglades Florida. The room was clean and welcoming. I'm guessing it was newly renovated as well. The room also suffered from the overflowing aroma of room freshener. The bed was quite hard. I'm not fond of Fox news nor is ESPN on my list of favorites. In both cases they present shrill voices arguing with one another. Why start your day with that stress. What was playing on the two very large TV's in the breakfast area? Fox News was on one TV and ESPN was on the other. I'm not impressed. The breakfast area, also newly renovated, is bright and cheerful. The breakfast offerings were hot and plentiful. Some of the labeling of breakfast items was a bit confusing. (Please see photo) Our stay was pleasant once the aroma cleared a bit. Update: I came back to this hotel and the room freshener smell is gone. Yay! Fox news is still blaring in the lobby with no way to turn down the volume."

"Excellent accommodations and friendly staff. Appreciated the ease of accessing the hotel and check-in. The breakfast was very good as well. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable."
