Staybridge Suites Overland Park-Kansas City Area, an IHG Hotel 7020 West 108th Street, Overland Park, KS 66211

"We decided to stay here for 8 days since we have never been to KC. Our vision was to work remotely during the work week and be close enough to good BBQ spots and downtown. The rooms are very small. The pillows are pancakes, some of the items are in need of repair/replaced or just downright dingy. Examples: shower curtains, the center consoles by the couches. I had to use my own sanitizing wipes to wipe the place and area down that still had stains because I did not trust the space. Even with our platinum and diamond status, they were not able to upgrade us to a larger space that had the small counter so both of us could work. We checked multiple times for availability. Staff said there was a larger room btu we had to pay more per night. We passed on that offer. The gym did not have sanitizing wipes and one of the screens for the treadmill was not working. The laundry room has half of the equipment available due to being out of order. Some staff were helpful, others not so much. Not very consistent. We were quietly playing cards on a weeknight downstairs in the den area of the first floor and we were kicked out. But they were perfectly fine with hoards of soccer kids running around the lobby and pool area causing chaos and being loud and disruptive. I had to alert the staff that someone lit and put out a stinky cigarette in the elevator. Weeknight HH ran out of red wine very quickly. The food is obviously frozen, not fresh. I would not recommend this hotel for an extended stay."

"This seems to be a newer hotel. Rooms are nice and equipped well for our needs. Appreciate finding a nice place we can bring our dogs with us."

"I've gotten kind of picky about hotels on these business trips and I had never heard of staybridge but I noticed it had higher reviews than everywhere else in the area even some of the best known brand hotels. Well I have to say I was not disappointed and the perfect way to describe it just that... A solid notch above the rest and definitely exceeded expectations. Very good and better than a lot of places at twice the price. Layout of rooms is A REFRESHING CHANGE OF SCENERY and it's really easy to get settled in cozy and actually forget you're at a hotel. Perfect location right in the middle of EVERYTHING and Everywhere you could wanna go for food drinks and entertainment. If you're having trouble deciding, look no further, this is the one."

"Very pretty establishment, clean with spacious rooms. I loved the Dove products in the bathroom! The queen beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed beer on tap and wine during social hour. It was a relaxing stay before we had to be at the hospital for surgery. Highly recommend!"

"Rooms were very clean and staff were very nice. Everything was great except one thing.. BREAKFAST. At every hotel I've stayed at in the past, their breakfast always had some sort of meat for breakfast. Not here... they just had the usual waffle, cold cereal and cheap muffins. Cereal was very limited and milk didn't come in a container. No fruits also."
