Avenue 80 Apartments

"Avenue 80 was one of my favorite apartments! I lived in an S2 and the layout was perfect for one or two people. Great storage overall, and the finishes compliment any type of design/furniture style. The amenities are fab, and I had great neighbors. Quick maintenance as well, but I rarely had to submit work requests since this is a newer, well-kept apartment community. I just loved being walking distance to the farmers market and all the restaurants in DOP. I would have renewed my lease if my friends and family weren't all in NKC."

"We lived at Avenue 80 for three years and absolutely loved our time there. We originally lived in a unit on the second floor and changed to a unit on the fourth floor - and both units were great! The location is fantastic and very hard to beat. The staff is super helpful, and maintenance requests were always fulfilled very quickly. The only downside I experienced were some issues with the parking garage security - which hasn't been an issue as of late, but there were really no fixes to this. Other than that, the staff goes above and beyond to keep the building clean and in great shape - and daily cleaning of the common areas takes place. We especially enjoyed the courtyard and how well-maintained it was. If we didn't move somewhere with more space - we definitely would have stayed at Avenue 80!"

"The building amenities and location are nice. The maintenance staff people and Morgan in leasing are nice and very easy to work with. Unfortunately the apartments have paper thin walls and floors and residents don’t pick up after their pets. I have seen dog poop in the halls 3 times in less than 5 months here. The door frame on my patio is falling apart from decay. The patio itself is great as the building has a really nice pool and courtyard area. It feels a lot less nice than the high price of rent they are charging, though. I had many problems with the unit when I moved in (shower didn’t work, tub plug was stuck, door wouldn’t latch closed, window wouldn’t close right and it was January, disposal didn’t work, etc) Plus, twice when I’ve been out of town for a while (10 days and 6 days) I came home to an email accusing me of noise coming from the apartment. To say I’m concerned about that is an understatement, especially after seeing a review on here that staff was partying in vacant units - mine’s not vacant, obviously, but why is there a noise issue when I’m out of town? It doesn’t make me feel very safe to say the least. I’m unlikely to stay here when my lease is up."

"This is by far the best apartment/complex we have lived in. The staff is very nice & welcoming and the maintenance team is incredibly quick! Our apartment had tons of space, with the huge closet being one of my favorite parts. The amenities are also amazing. If we weren't moving out of state we'd be calling this place home for a while. Highly recommend living here!"

"We moved here after selling our house down the street. I was worried about living in an apartment after being homeowners but I have been absolutely pleased. Avenue 80 maintains attention to detail and cares about the experience of living in a luxury apartment. The fitness center is better than expected and never feels crowded. The pool is relaxing with great areas for seating. The sauna is also relaxing. The secure package concierge is a wonderful feature. Free Starbucks coffee is available in the lobby. I can’t hear my neighbors surrounding me while I’m in my apartment. We are within walking distance to a wonderful small downtown with a great coffee shop and restaurants. The entire building is secure and really makes me feel safe living here. Management makes sure people abide by rules of the amenities and are not opposed to revoking rights of the pool etc if they find someone is abusing it. I highly recommend this place as it has exceeded my expectations."
