"So glad we picked this place to stay during our trip to St. Louis. The house is beautiful. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. There's a park across the way for walking. We were also surprised to find that we were within walking distance to the hockey arena, which was our sole purpose of going to St. Louis. The food both mornings was the perfect amount and very well made. Marie can definitely cook!"
"This was an amazing old location with plenty of charm. So thankful to have experienced it this weekend. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. Homemade breakfast was a delight. The house was amazingly decorated for the season. I look forward to returning here again soon."
"It was an absolute delight to stay here. Marie is an exceptional host. The house is beautiful, very clean and filled with art. The care that Marie puts into the place is evident everywhere you look. I am sensitive to scents, so it was wonderful to stay in a place that does not use scented laundry products or glade plug ins and similarly scented items. This is so rare to find. Thoughtful touches in our room included Gilchrest and Soames toiletries, heated towel bar and delicious German chocolates. Parking is easy, the neighborhood felt safe and we had easy access to everywhere we needed to go in the city. Breakfast is delicious and filling. We felt so pampered while we were there. Her scones are out of this world. We had a room with a bathtub (Nora's room) and it was so nice to soak in. I look forward to whenever we visit St. Louis again just to stay here."
"Enjoyed our stay with Marie very much. Beautiful home, comfy bed and excellent breakfast! We enjoyed her tea and coffee station, as well. The neighborhood is very charming and the parking was very easy and accessible. Marie is very kind, charming and enjoyable to visit with."
"My son and I booked a one night stay at the Lehmann House to celebrate his high school graduation. It was a phenomenal stay. Upon arrival we were greated by Marie and she gave us a history of the house along with our room keys. Marie was awesome!!! We loved her stories and hearing her experiences. And the breakfast, she prepared was awesome!!! I am never going to stay downtown St. Louis again. Our room was filter clean and furnished with lots of period pieces. The bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. Now, the main reason we ended up at the Lehmann House was the possibility of having a ghost adventure. My son is very much into that activity and it was great walking the halls and common areas doing some amateur ghost hunting. Unfortunately that meant we were using phone apps to detect and they probably weren't super accurate. But, we will be better prepared next time. Our only unexplainable experience was waking up at 4:00 am to the really strong smell of coffee in our room. We don't drink coffee and we're assured nobody was brewing at that hour. Despite no luck with ghost hunting, the Lehmann House may be my favorite place to stay when in St. Louis."
