"Absolutely amazing. Top of the line breakfast. Beautiful rooms. Clean. Relaxing excellent pool. And zen spots. Please stay out of the ship graveyard. For the safety of the restoration process. Definitely my favorite room of all times. Best employees, everyone was so nice that Christmas holiday. Gifted me shoes. Thank you my gran daughter at the front desk is the best. The maintenance was so kind. I loved my slipper n snow boots. Blessings. Can't wait to get spoiled again someday. Ide totally be pretty woman sniper water fall tears again while scouting out how to get aboard a navy ship so I could pay respects to my passed on loved ones. Thank you lloyd"

"While the location of this hotel is not perfect, simply because it is located away from the heart of Astoria, what can't be denied is that this is a very well run and surprisingly nice hotel atmosphere. I won't go into extreme detail because it's really not necessary. Everything about the hotel was clean and orderly. The room was spotless. The beds were comfortable. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The included breakfast was surprisingly good although lacking in variety but really there was something for everyone. The overall ambiance of the hotel belies its location. Our inability to find a room in the downtown core at last minute turned out to be a pleasant turn of events. We are very happy we discovered the Lloyd and are looking forward to staying here again in the future when we pass through again."

"Nice and clean. Good price. I loved that they actually had good coffee in the room! I plan to go here again next time I'm in Astoria. The only thing I wish was different, is I wish I could cast to the TV in the room as the chanel selection was horrible! But I wasn't there to watch TV so no big deal just would have been nice."

"Went here on a work trip, very nice hotel! Pool was okay, hot tub was VERY hot, and breakfast bar had an amazing cook! Cookies at the front desk for check-in and check-out were very nice."

"We only stayed one night, but it was enjoyable. Typical size for a hotel room. King size bed and it was a wheelchair accessible room. It's advertised as a dog friendly hotel and it is. Just expect to pay a pet fee. It is definitely an older building, but fairly well maintained. The exception was an old boat stored in the grass area. The perks were nice. They had cookies for the guests and hot salmon chowder available after 5pm. We didn't use the pool, but it is open to adults 24 hours a day. Breakfast was included. Overall impression is a quaint place to stay on the Columbia river. A huge cruise ship was docked 2 blocks away and was a cool sight to see! My only complaint and it's not really a complaint is that it cost as much per night as our room in Clackamas at a Residence Inn with a modern, much larger room. But it was definitely enjoyable! Staff were helpful and friendly, making it a very pleasant stay."
