"Wow what a place! Really great views and the staff is amazing! Our room 108 had a lovely view of the ships going by! We used the VesselFinder app to check out the ships as they pass! The wine hour was fun and the small plates were great! The morning breakfast has a great selection complete with a omelette bar! Very relaxing and romantic!"

"What a wonderful place to stay. Great view of the Columbia River just right outside the window! Free drinks and light appetizers upon arrival, free breakfast, and free cookies to conclude the evening! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to other nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Would come back here again."

"Very few hotels do I say WOW to but this would be one of them. Relaxing is an understatement, watching the river peacefully flow by just takes away any anxiety that you might have. We loved our room and all of its amenities, we had the one bedroom suite and everything about is was perfect. The staff at check in was friendly and efficient, the bartender and server did a great job at the wine reception. We loved the energy of the server as she was talking with everyone and getting out all of the appetizer plates which were very good. The breakfast chef did a great job on the omelet's. We will be back soon !!"

"My daughter and I stayed two nights, on New Years Eve and the day after. We had a little mother, daughter time. She loved the tub and the bath salts that were left for us. I thought she would never get out. I loved the relaxing view, comfortable bed and the steeped coffee. Most hotel room coffee is gross and this was really a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was very nice and you could see that although it was busy, staff was working hard to keep the food coming. We were just in time for a great cup of coffee and choices of juice (orange, apple and cranberry), and hot, out of the oven muffins. The view from the dining/seating area is mesmerizing. We could have sat there for hours. By the time we finished our muffins, they were preparing omelets and potatoes. The stay was perfection. Being entrenched in the hospitality business myself, I look for unreasonable hospitality, and this is the only hotel I have found it at in Oregon, The Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa! My only recommendation is that you need small table games or tins of trivia cards, possibly a puzzle or two in the bar/dining area."

"This place was so amazing! Watching the river traffic, the wildlife from the room or the balcony was a really neat experience. The staff was so kind and welcoming, our 7 year old felt seen and special. The breakfast was delicious and the room was comfy. The softest, best smelling robes and a soaking tub that felt like a swimming pool! Can't wait to stay here again, highly recommended! Even captured this rainbow from the room as a parting gift to us."
