"Confirmed and accepted my money for a reservation only to message that they wanted to cancel two weeks later so they could raise rates by $100/night because they forgot to change the rates on their own direct booking site. This was after confirming via email the specific dates two weeks prior. Had been a multiple visit guest, but my current trip will be my last stay here. Update: She mentions that she gave me a 20% discount, but I just reserved based on the hotels website. Very much felt like a bait and switch as she waited until after other nearby options had booked to come back with the pay an additional $100/night or I'll cancel. Claimed she didn't know the dates of the "special event" that happens the same holiday weekend every year."

"Nice room with everything one would need for a weekend in Astoria including a DVD player and lots of movies and books to browse through. It was built in 1900 so of course this hotel has that vintage charm with its unique quirks. The towels were rough, so I did want to note that. I would rate higher with nicer towels and a breakfast, otherwise it was a nice boutique hotel in a wonderful area close to everything."

"Really cute hotel where you can watch DVD's they have available. Best part was the location to downtown - it is extremely walkable to all of the restaurants, food trucks, arcades, antique stores, and the pier. Rooms were clean and matched the feel of the victorian neighborhood."

"We absolutely love to stay here. Last Saturday was our 5th stay in just over a year. Every stay has been amazing. We can park the car and explore restaurants and shops near by without getting back into the car all weekend. It’s so close to the Sunday market and our favorite restaurants. Candy has always been more than helpful and very prompt in replies. The last two trips we got a second room for my parents to stay in so they could also come enjoy Astoria."

"If you can get the top floor room this place is pretty cool. Big view of the river. This is a very old place and you should take the word boutique seriously. Rooms are great, but you should expect dates in a 100 year old building. There are no staff on site. They were great when I booked by phone!"
