"Cool place with good beer a museum surf shop coffee shop views of the Columbia all the massive ships and so romantic. The drive out the pier is quite scary but it’s an old wooden pier!!!!"

"A quirky free museum where the Bumblebee Co. processed fish on the east side of Astoria off Hwy 101. Drive across the wooden bridge and the old processing plant is straight ahead. There is a little coffee shop and small museum shop. Don't forget to walk around back to watch the delightful sea lions."

"Stopped by quickly hoping to find some sea lions hanging out. No sea lions that day, but a really cool place to stop in Astoria! Great cafe and shops while still in a working fishing pier. Felt authentic. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back next time."

"Hidden Gem - check out OleBob’s seafood for some of the best live Dungeness crab, crab cake dough (make at home) and smoked salmon. Then check out the sea lions while enjoying some coffee from the adjacent coffee shop. To make the crab cakes, coat in Panko and toss onto a cast iron with liberal amount of butter in the oven at 375degF for ~20 min till they hit 165degF internal temp."
