"Stopped in to see if there are spots available to camp. The older lady at the front desk was SOOOO FREAKING RUDE!!! I have never met someone with such poor customer service. After we left, we were turning around in the circle drive to leave, she sped up to us on her golf cart and screamed at us for driving too fast “in her RV park”. Such a brat to us for no reason. I’m shocked someone can act so disrespectfully to someone else, especially after I just told her how stressed I was trying to find a camping spot with my baby. Do not camp in your RV here and support such a vile woman."
"Very nice clean park, some gravel some paved spots. Quiet and perfect if you don’t have kids and are looking for peace and quiet. 5.5 mph speed limit that is well enforced. Probably not the most kid friendly park for anyone who like to move faster 5.5 mph."
"Very well maintained RV Park. Stayed in fhu pull in spot 9C. The ones on either side of me were back in spots. They do this because the utilities are in the middle of two spots so they alternate pull in (motorhomes) and back in (trailers/5th Wheels) spots so hook-ups are on the proper side. The only thing is when you walk out your door it's to your neighbors door; so to speak. My neighbor had their stuff set up outside their door and hanging out there so not private. I would have preferred back in too because I would have had a better view of the creek that runs between the golf course and RV Park from inside my RV. I was however able to hear the frogs at night that live among the Lily pads there. The surrounding areas around the Park in most directions were great. Beautiful sunsets and saw the full moon rising. Pets cannot use lawn around the spots to relieve themselves, there is a large pet area in the middle of the Park. This can be a tad inconvenient at times but at this spot, it was right across the way so not terrible. The laundry area looked nice and the bathroom/shower is huge and private. Office very friendly. Good location to enjoy Astoria and thereabouts . I was there during 4th of July and was able to see some of the fireworks that they shoot off near the Maritime Museum over the treetops here. So that was cool. And you can also see the Astoria Column from this spot. They light it up at night. Wi-fi for me worked pretty well. Though at night it did get a little spotty. I would stay there again. Note it is cash or check only."
"This is a well kept quiet campground. We stayed for a couple nights. The hosts are very nice. There is a small area for dogs but for a bigger dog it is small. The bathrooms could use a good clean and the laundry room was great. You are not far from Astoria a $20 cab ride if ypu have a motorhome and no car. There is a river that runs through the park which makes a nice setting."
"This RV park is an absolute gem at the coast. It is set with a golf course so the views are, as you may expect, quite parklike. The spaces are not HUGE but there's enough space to be comfortable between you and your neighbor. Has 50 amp and 30 amp at the site. There is water and sewer dump at your site as well. The WiFi is great as long as someone bigger and denser than you doesn't park between you and the antenna. Then it can be dodgy but still usable. If you're looking for the "campground experience" I would say you need to go to the state park. If you're looking for a clean quiet place to park and get away THIS is your spot. Ship Out is a food truck located just to the west. YOU HAVE GOT to have the fish and chip and chowder. AMAZING stuff. Oh and let me address the personality "issues" of the staff here. These ladies are not paid to be your buddy. Nor are they emotional support puppets. They operate a resource where you are expected to be mature and responsible. They have rules there for a reason and {gasp} they expect you to follow them. You're not special and you're not exempt. As long as you can respect that I have found the staff friendly, funny, social, and engaging. I really liked this park and their staff. 5 stars and I highly recommend them."
