"The whole 60’s aesthetic thing is kinda cool but wears off pretty quick when you actually have to sleep in this dump. The walls are paper thin and we heard nothing but our tweaker neighbors scurrying around and banging into the walls ALL NIGHT LONG. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here if you want a decent nights sleep. Spring for the holiday inn, you won’t be disappointed."
"Aesthetic is on point! I was not thrilled about choosing this place online because refurbished motels are often dingy no matter what, but this place was surprisingly cute and clean. There is some obvious wear on permanent fixtures and I'm not a fan of motel carpet, but the details are so thoughtful and even the hair conditioner is total quality. Wooden roof makes me feel like I'm in a cabin if it had a baby with the Jetsons. I wish I was staying longer than one night. Other things: Right next to a pig & pancakes diner! Free, easy parking Great Wi-Fi even in the furthest room Thoughtful front desk Room came with a fan 20 minute walk to downtown"
"Overall it’s a nice quirky setting (reminds me of the game Fallout pre bombshell drop) Staff was nice and helpful. Being close to the gas station is nice for quick grabs. A few dinner spots nearby is also really nice. Breakfast is a plus. And BBQ if you’re there for it in season is a bonus. It also has some really nice toiletries (shampoo, lotion, soap, etc) The TV and microwave did not work, but that didn’t bother me; My complaint might be out of the norm - but because of the low price it definitely attracts some bad neighbors who maybe be loud or smoking weed. The walls are very thin and all the exhaust systems I suspect are connected."
"Worst service I have ever encountered. I made a reservation online over a week in advance, and when I made the reservation it made me input my age. Perfectly fine, put in my birthday, and went along my merry way. I get there, and I am APPALLED. The lady at the front desk was rude and condensing, and smugly told me that she can't rent to me since I'm not 21, even though the legal age to rent in Oregon is only 18. Since they charged my card in advance, and I had to wait days to get my money back. Trust me, avoid this catastrophe, and just go to the Motel 6 down the road. The Motel 6 is clean, actually smells good, and has exceptional customer service."
"Location was good. Decor was cute BUT- Breakfast was not breakfast. Coffee and pre-wrapped muffins and bananas. Showers-If you are taller than 5 feet its a nightmare. Low shower head, low water pressure. Beds- very uncomfortable and bumpy. One side sunk in. -Noise- walls and ceilings are paper thin. Can hear everything and we happen to have neighbors that were up all night. We Asked to be moved and were told no, not, unless we paid extra. The motel was not even full. Electrical- fire hazards throughout room. When asked to move rooms away from the noisy area, again was told no even though they weren’t full."
