"I have stayed here twice and have another visit planned for August 2024. The rooms are fabulous. We stayed in a corner Jr. suite both times. The views were incredible, the location is perfect for visiting all the top spots in San Francisco. The front desk was responsive, and security was great as I had called and asked for a band-aid. The rooms were very clean. I would have to say that all-around, the JW Marriott was and is perfect for my needs."

"Somewhat disappointing experience for a JW Marriott. They seem very understaffed and disorganized. We constantly had to send our check back at the restaurant for corrections. The coffee station in the lobby was a mess and frequently empty. The rooms were nice, and the overall look of the hotel was pretty nice as well. I just expected more from the JW Marriott."

"This Marriott is absolutely stunning in the heart of SF! Within walking distance to Union square the facility itself is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would stay here again!"

"I recently stayed at JW Marriott San Francisco and unfortunately faced several challenges. The accessibility room provided had a confined living space with an unpredictable AC system, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. Moreover, the south-facing room was excessively loud, resulting in disrupted sleep for three nights. Additionally, on the fourth day of my stay, I tested positive for COVID-19. Regrettably, I am uncertain about the reporting procedure and cannot rule out the possibility of contracting the virus during my time at the hotel. I sincerely hope the hotel takes swift action to address these concerns for the well-being and safety of future guests."

"The JW Marriot Union Station by far exceeded my expectations. It wasn't because of the property itself. The lobby was refreshed and had great touches like the fireplace and led lighting. The rooms could use a little TLC. The bathrooms were gorgeous in the room. But my favorite part was the wonderful staff members that I crossed. I celebrated my birthday here and from the moment I checked in until departure I must say I enjoyed it. Let's start with the check-in process with Rick. He was so knowledgeable and gave great recommendations of things to do and food to try. We also found out our birthdays are just shy of each other's by a few days. The added perks of the room ($25 daily credit) that I was charged beforehand gave me the opportunity to try the restaurant and bar on site. I'm so glad this happened because I typically wouldn't but the Pesto grilled chicken sandwich (I had it twice) was absolutely bomb! I was able to meet Tan (server for lunch) she was so delightful and even remembered my birthday when she seen me on my second visit. For dinner and my night cap at the bar I had the pleasure of experiencing Emily. She was just as delightful to have met. Brought me a nice glass of champagne to celebrate my birthday. She brought out me some trail mix and who knew it would blend so well with my Bourbon. I now look to do this combo when I'm just drinking light. The welcome perk was also a pleasant surprise. We received two free cable car tickets, a nice tote bag, and infused water. All around it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely do it again. Thanks for a great weekend to celebrate the birthday. Cons. Valet was excessive in price but they were quick and friendly. PS. This review is about two months old as I came in October. That shows you I wanted to be sure the staff got their due well deserved credit!"
