Reviews of Hotel Abri
"My go-to in San Francisco. Great location, clean and comfortable. Ask for a quiet room if you’re a light sleeper- they are always accommodating."
"I stayed here for a week for a conference, and I loved it. I booked a King Suite, and the room was incredibly large, especially considering the cost. The location of this hotel is amazing. You are a few blocks from Union Square, a few blocks from the Convention Center, and a block away from BART and bus lines. I would 100% stay here again in the future."
"Let me start by saying the hotel is clean and comfortable. Dennis was working the front desk when we got in very late. He knew who we were before I even gave him any info. At almost midnight with a large family, that was awesome customer service. You also receive a free little care package that includes a bottle of wine when you check in. This is a boutique style hotel in a very old building. Everything is small. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are small, and the beds are full sized in the 2 bed rooms. It's the perfect place to be if you want a good location and dont plan to spend a lot of time in your room. If you are looking for ameneities and a huge/elite/commercial hotel room, this is not the place for you. It was perfect for us! Right on the edge of Union Square. Easy access to everything."
"Honestly I loved this hotel. I like that the front door is key access only, I slept well here, and my room was clean. The only knock I have is that it is a bit dated and some of the in-room features show it. Also, you’re right in the edge of the Tenderloin so there’s that. All in all I had a great stay though and the staff was very helpful. I’ll definitely stay again."
"Stayed here for a week for a business trip and had a pleasant stay. Booked a king room and it was small but fine for a couple to stay for a week (with one person working from the room during the day). Not a ton of storage space for luggage or clothes but it worked out fine for us. The main reasons I chose this hotel were cost (I found a discounted rate on the hotel website) and location. You can’t beat the proximity to the BART and multiple bus lines! We had a street-facing room and we did hear noise, but it honestly was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. There is not noise going on all night, just the occasional car speeding through the streets or police sirens. I am an extremely light sleeper and brought a noise machine with, and I was never woken up in the middle of the night by street noise. The mattress was fine, but I’ve slept on much better at the chain hotels. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and there is only one tiny shelf to put your items on. There was plenty of counter space around the sink. The staff were all lovely and I would stay here again in the future."
