"(Update we pay 50$ a month for pet rent and they cant even cut the grass properly and there always out of doggy waste bags and out mailbox has been broken for pver a month you have to drive to the post office if you want your mail) Worst place to live everything in the apartment brakes super easy like it's held together with ducktape, we get letters on our door saying the complex owes 825$ on the water bill because they don't pay there bills so they raise the water bill 40$ for everyone to pays the bills they didn't and the trash hasn't been picked up in a week so the entire complex reeks of trash"
"Update: They responded to my review asking me to call, I called and no one answers. One of the options takes you to a security office who even said "yea I'm not sure why when you press 4, it takes you to us." I then sent an email with no response back. I still stand by my previous review. Nobody here cares about their tenants. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I have owned and lived here since 2009 and unfortunately, the complex is getting worse and worse. Multiple car break ins, cars being stolen out of the complex, packages stolen off doors. My boyfriends work van was broken into and over $20,000 worth of tools were stolen. Not even 3 months after that, there was another attempt, and less than a month ago, another one! We told the office we would be parking in a visible spot where we could hear the alarm go off and see if anything was happening and we are now being told "it's an eye-sore" and it needs to be moved back to a designated parking spot, or else it may be towed. As I do understand, it's not the prettiest to look at, it's the safest. This complex only worries about how it looks from the outside, it doesn't care about the safety and well-being of their tenants and their personal belongings. They do absolutely NOTHING to fix these things. Instead of worrying about "eye-sores" how about you worry about fixing the problem. Invest in security that actually does something and comes more than once after 11pm, or security cameras, or maybe change the gate code that's been the same for over 10+ years. We can't wait to get out of here. Management is a complete joke."
"They nickle and dime you and decided to charge us 2$ more a month on top of the already high rent for pest control but my apartment door is crawling with spiders the maintenance men only make problems worst the janitor doesn't do any thing and walks by piles of dog poop to sweep grass on the side walk this place is a sorry excuse for a luxery apartment. They have the cheapest carpet, appliances, paint and hardware everything breaks within the first 6 months of moving in. I would post pictures of the big spiders outside my door but google won't let me."
"Another truck got broken into last night. Gated community doesn't protect residents from being a victim of car theft and burglary. If you are a current resident of Adagio Apartment in La Mesa, CA, please make sure to lock your cars and doors. Don't be fooled with "quiet" community."
"I was targeted by upstairs neighbors and my car was stolen out of the gated lot because of the TicTic challenge. Was treated rudely by neighbors. Ownership seems to change every year. My apartment was 100 percent electric but I pay for other resident-owned units' gas ('community cost'). NO GRILLING ON PATIO OR BALCONY. Walls are paper thin and my upstairs neighbor's pot fests fill my bathroom and kitchen. Other neighbors were abusing their dog. Fitness center is nice. My lease was finally up and I got out of there. Could never fully get rid of bugs. Now owned by Greystar, the worst."
