Park Grossmont Apartments

"They are super happy and eager to get you in, Florence was SO sweet! Well other than mentioning the smoke smell in one bedroom ON move in day, of course, the only recourse is her saying we have 48 hours to decide to stay. Gee thanks. Now, luxury?? When we first toured we were shown a newly remodeled unit with a breeze. What we were given was a beat up, patched up apartment over a water pipe that leaks hot water under the floor (maintenance read the bathroom floor at 106 degrees) It melted our bathroom mats and kept the apartment HOT. The solution was to turn down the temperature to the building(what about the leak?), and the floor is still noticeably hot in some places. Next, COCKROACHES!! Our neighbor tells me this place was thrashed before we moved in, there were cockroaches and they had treated a lot before moving us in. We've treated a couple times, and have never been able to get rid of them fully. It's gotten to the point that I don't like cooking in my house, a bug crawled on my LEG, EWW, and they scatter like a movie at night. I'll spare you those pictures. For over 3000 a month, this is not worth it at all. There are places way nicer for this price."

"Florence was so helpful, great communication and informative! The apartment complex was beautiful and well maintained. We were helping my daughter, a recent college graduate, look for her first apt with 2 roommates. So many apartment complexes didn't even bother to call us back when we inquired about vacancies. Florence called and took all of our information even though there were no vacancies at the time. She called me as soon as there was an available unit and Grossmont Park was my first choice. The location, apt layout, spaciousness, and well kept spaces convinced me that my daughter and her friends would be safe and comfortable there. Not to mention Florence was so great, I felt if there ever was a problem management would be responsive. The monthly rent was just slightly more than the recent graduates budgeted. My husband and I offered to make up the difference so we could feel comfortable knowing they would be in a good place, but ultimately they decided they wanted to be completely independent and not accept any assistance from us so they chose another complex. I definitely recommend Grossmont Park. Florence, thank you for all of your help. You're the best!"

However, I did want to acknowledge that the manager of these apartments, Florence, was a genuinely helpful and kind woman who helped me greatly in my housing search. If you are searching for housing, I would recommend reaching out to her to see what they have available. She is very informative and is open to helping you even if you decide that Park Grossmont isn't a perfect fit! Thanks Florence."

"Just moved in here a month ago and wow is this place great. We initially toured a unit that ended up being rented before we got a chance to accept, as we took a bit to long finalizing the process. After about 3 days we got a call from Park Grossmont that another similar unit opened up so we jumped on it immediately. Florence was incredibly helpful and prompt through the whole process and made moving in as smooth as it could be. The whole property is clean and the staff and other tenants are friendly but leave you to your self. I highly recommend Park Grossmont to anyone interested."
