"This was a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again. Lovely lobby, beautiful pool area, and amazing rooftop bar were all highlights!! The front desk staff were also really nice and professional and accommodating, I liked them all a lot. Beautiful views from my room right out over the ocean and a pretty big room for the price. I stayed in a king suite. Very deep bathtub set in marble which was amazing. The hotel was also not that full when I stayed here which was nice. The only things I didn’t love were that the cold water in my sink didn’t work (both taps were hot), and the water temp was a bit inconsistent in the bath/shower (again more of an issue getting cold water than hot), there was only one elevator that worked and it was old and slow, and there was a fee for housekeeping (they did towel replenishments for free if you ask though). I think this was the old Shangri La hotel and you can tell they’re still in the midst of modernizing it but overall would definitely recommend!"

"I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The people were super friendly, and made everything a breeze. Location is excellent with so many bars and restaurants within walking distance. They even have their own amazing rooftop bar and you are right there in front of the ocean. "This was our 2nd stay at a Sonder. The view: spectacular. A bit weird having a wrap around balcony for anyone on the floor to use? But we paid a higher price that wasn't able to be credited back to me on top of $49 a day for parking. While our experience wasn't "bad", due to the cost and lack of negotiation ability by customer service we most likely won't be staying again. It was in a great location - walking distance to many things."

"After reading a number of poor reviews, expectations were low when we checked in but what a welcome surprise. This place is amazing! These apartments are stylishly refurbished and beachfront. We booked a number of rooms to accommodate extended family and all were super clean and well laid out with stunning views and modern amenities. The pool complex is fabulous and a real sun trap. We loved it so much, some of us extended our stay. Highly recommend this fab spot."

"Great location for what we needed! Within walking distance of restaurants, the pier and we rented e-bikes and took them all around and right back to hotel. Stayed for Labor Day weekend, they are doing renovations on the roof top bar right now, so we didn’t get to see it but the pool and hot tub are open and the patio is beautifully done. Rooms are gorgeous, the tubs are huge! Very clean and reasonably priced. The front office staff are friendly and very helpful. We needed to switch rooms when we arrived as for our accommodations and they didn’t hesitate. The beds were comfortable and the views from beach side are amazing! Would definitely go back."
