Hilton Santa Monica Hotel & Suites

"I've stayed at a lot of Hilton properties. I still like this one but now that I know I can get points at the Oceana I will stay there next time. Monica's has a limited menu and isn't very good. The pool is small, doesn't have a pool bar, and is just ok. The showers are weird, you can't reach the temperature adjustment without being in the shower. This location doesn't have a spa, which I should have checked for before I booked. They do have chargers for your electric vehicle. The staff is amazingly nice. The issue is there are better properties in the area that cost the same or nearly the same. It is walking distance to the pier and a trolly stop. If you dont care about what the hotel has itself. The room was ok but tight for two beds. Felt more like staying at a Marriott than a Hilton."

"Friendly reception staff. Spacious rooms. Good location to beach, pier and restaurants. My only niggles (stayed 10 nights) You can’t get a coffee after 2pm or anything else for that matter until 5pm as the bar is shut. No bottles water in the rooms and like a groundhog hunt for water dispensers Overall, a pleasant stay"

"The hotel was great during my trip to Santa Monica, I stayed in the 1 King Balcony Suite City View which is luxurious. The hotel was great, the staff were friendly and the housekeeping were outstanding as well as my room being perfect. The hotel is one of the best will for sure be on my list while visiting Santa Monica. This is for sure one of the best Hilton hotels in the area. It is one of the best hotels in Santa Monica. The hotel is the best in for sure is on my list of hotels I will go to while in the state. I expect to be back very soon for my next trip."

"Dan did a great job on educating us on the hotel amenities and the surrounding areas at check-in. Dan confirmed that I had prepaid for breakfast. Consuela (Dining room Manager)checked her list and stated that I hadn't prepaid and insisted that I go to the front desk to verify. I visited the front desk, and the receptionist confirmed that I had indeed prepaid for breakfast, and she'd call the restaurant to update them. As I returned to the table, I updated the Consuela. Consuela departed to verify. When she returned, she stated that I only prepaid for one breakfast, and it would be from the buffet. I reiterated that we would be ordering from the menu. The breakfast was great. The location of the hotel is just blocks from the Santa Monica Pier and about a mile from the place that I was in town to do business with."

"Overall the hotel has a polished, laidback feel to it. There are some nice design touches in the lobby. Comfortable, clean and cosy rooms. Some softer lighting options in the bathroom and bedroom would be a nice addition. The front desk and housekeeping staff were lovely and helpful. Great location; it’s a short walk from the beach and shops. Quick drive to LAX. We used the car park opposite the hotel as the hotel only has valet parking."
