"I've stayed here every Christmas for quite a few years (over a decade) and it is something I look forward to, still, to this day, every year. It is family owned and affordable lodging in an amazing location. It is a few minutes walk to the beach and lots of interesting cafes and coffee shops along Main Street. While it is nice to come out and see my family, who live in Santa Monica, during the holiday season, it is hard to beat the experience of staying at the SeaShore motel and exploring the local area. Thanks to the family ownership of this establishment for keeping such a great locally-owned lodging option open for folks - it delights me ever year!"

"Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations. The main building looks inviting, however, our apartment was located in the neighboring building, which is accessible via a staircase directly from the street. The apartment was unfortunately not well maintained and the floor was relatively dirty (when walking barefoot you got dark soles). We wanted to stay longer, but after one night we looked for another hotel. At least the reception was very accommodating and has completely refunded us the other nights."
