"I hope you like the smell of weed, loud music at all times throughout the night, and hearing your neighbors yelling profanities. The hallways reek of marijuana at all hours of the day. I left at 6:30am and I could tell you exactly which apartment was smoking because it was that strong in the hallway. Don't expect to sit on your balcony for too long because someone will come out and smoke making the whole area stink. If you expect to get a good night sleep, don't get your hopes up. People are out by the pool blasting music until 2am multiple times a week (I even have earplugs to help and I can still clearly hear the music it is that loud). I have tried calling someone but received no response. The walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors in screaming matches and yelling at each other. I have lived here for the past eight months and as soon as I think it is getting better things quickly take a turn."
"Living at Apex Apartments has been an enjoyable experience, and I'm pleased to share my positive impressions. Shay, the leasing manager, has played a pivotal role in making this residency exceptional for myself. Her responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care for residents' needs have set a high standard for service. She's so kind and I think that's very important to have as a quality in her role. Safety was a concern for me, and Apex Apartments has proven to be a secure and welcoming community actually! The well-maintained amenities, coupled with thoughtfully designed common spaces, contribute to a positive overall living experience! My one complaint is I don't think there's a good place for dogs to play and it gets really dirty out there. People unfortunately don't pick up their dog poop and the maintenance guys have to which is unfair. Which brings me to talk about the maintenance staff they're also super great! They get stuff done quick around here and I love that."
"I don't ever leave reviews but I had to let the world know how great my experience was with Apex and the property management company Greystar that took over about a month ago. When I first toured I was a little wary because of the bad reviews but PLEASE do not let detour you! Stephanie is the leasing professional that toured and walked me through the whole process. She was so helpful, very professional, answered my hundred thousand questions, and catered to ALL of my needs. Ya'll I am very EXTRA and she was so patient. Definitely ask for her if you are interested! (Greystar she needs a raise after dealing with me ) The building itself is VERY clean and well kept! It's a new build so everything is up to date! I had a service request when I first moved in (something minor) and they were here within 2 HOURS and had it fixed. Also there is not a fee to process your rent as long as you use your bank account instead of a credit card (saw that in the reviews) so if you're worried about that like I was just use your account. The neighborhood is up and coming but the building is secure and they have security at night. I'm single female living by myself here and I feel completely safe. It's also very quiet I don't hear much of anything aside from typical apartment living noises. Nothing too obnoxious! 10 out of 10 RECOMMEND!!!!!"
"I am a new tenant to this apartment complex. I was sold on the complex because it was a new build, and though the apartments themselves are beautiful in the inside, the staff has not been the easiest to work with especially now under new management. Part of that may be because they were left with a handful of inaccurate information and part may just take time. When I first moved into my apartment, it was not clean and ready for move-in. When I let management staff know they just apologized and didn’t do anything about it leaving me to do it myself. Additionally, any time I’ve gone to the dog park there is mounds of dog messes and no grass. It’s very small and not something I paid attention to when choosing an apartment unfortunately."
"I have been a resident since opening and have experienced a number of issues given the pricing of the stay in this building with little or no accommodation for the residents. The community is unsafe and isolated by construction and freight yards with bad lighting. Management misleads and exploits residents without concern for the quality of their residential experience. Though the apartments are beautiful, I would not recommend them because of their pricing, the performance of certain staff, or the quality of living experience thus far. +There is no elevator inside the building only in the parking garage (which is internal but not indoors) which has often been out of service in the first couple of months +The community is unsafe and bad lighting around the building and surrounding area (with no security for the first couple of months of stay). Food vendors like Domino’s do not order to the area for “safety reasons” and gunshots can be heard often. There is an evident tension between law enforcement and community members. I was delayed to work on multiple occasions because the streets were blocked off and filled with police cars. Not safe to be out after or around dark. +The special move-in offer is misleading and does not include community fees which have doubles in first couple months +The online payment portal has an extra $50 processing fee +There is no concierge packaging service, a mail room was created after moving in to manage packages and no updates have been made. I have lost many packages and deliveries because they had trouble locating or accessing the building +There is only one waste area located on the first floor, no convenient waste access +No utilities are included in the rent +There is a loud train that runs at unpredictable times and durations, also issues with fire alarm system that often disturb residents +No accommodation or cooperation from management for misunderstandings and inconveniences for residents +Balcony flooring allows for items from above balconies to fall through (can be a major issue if there is a spill or dirt if plants are above) +Building can only be accessed via phone (with no charging units or 24/7 tech support available prior to entry) and the scanners for phone access often glitch. Must enter through the garage, there is no "main entrance" or entrance area for waiting, security, deliveries, etc. ***I am not able to respond to the reply from owner but I would like to make it clear that this review is directly from my email chain with the management and legal team. The complaints were dismissed and the legal team responded by shutting down the conversation, dictating that if we desired to continue the conversation we should do so through a judge. Also, I have only lived in big cities my entire life neighborhood noise does not include gunshots and fighting for an almost $2k/month 600sq ft one bedroom. Law enforcement should not be the only resource for safe housing & living in a "luxury apartment complex" at such rates either."
