"My girlfriend and I had signed a lease with this joke of a leasing company/apartment complex in early June, and had a move-in date set in stone for July 24. We are moving from out of town, so the timeline of our move in was very important. A leasing agent named Janeka called my cell phone 36 hours before our scheduled move in date to let me know that our apartment that we had signed a lease for would not be available on the agreed upon date because the cleaners were running late, that we would have to move in four days later than agreed upon. Like I said previously, we are coming from out of town so this left us with no options for housing for those four days. On the phone call, Janeka assured us that she had found a solution. Her “solution” was to upsell us on a unit that was $200 more. So, not only did they break our lease before it even started, we had to spend savings to get a hotel room for the time being. Well, three days later we got another phone call from a different leasing agent that works there named Tiera, and she was questioning why we had not moved into our apartment on our originally scheduled date. This immediately showed very poor communication skills. Due to her confusion, she transferred me to the property manager. I was then told by the property manager that we would be delayed yet again, this time for another four days, this time being for another lack of communication between the property managers, the leasing agents, and the cleaners. At this point, frustrated is an extreme understatement. We felt 100% completely disregarded by the people who were supposed to welcome us to our new home. We asked for some kind of accommodation on rent, simply because we were draining our own savings on the consequences of their shortcomings. They said no, claiming that “corporate would not allow it” even though they showed no effort towards trying to make things right. When I asked the property manager how I could be sure that miscommunications and lack of responsibilities like this would not happen again once we moved in, she told me verbatim “you’re just gonna have to take my word on this.” Well, stupidly, I trusted her, because we were desperate. So, today, on the day that we were supposed to move in, my girlfriend and I were on the road, had the car loaded ready to move in, and were on the way to our new place. In the two hour drive from our old place to our new apartment at Stonebrook, we called the leasing office 7 times to get in touch with them. We just figured that talking to our new landlords about our keys and when we could move in would make sense. Unfortunately, it made way too much sense for the people working in the leasing office. After waiting around in Nashville all day for them to answer us so we could proceed with our move in, and calling them 11x total, they never ever responded or answered our phone calls, forcing us to resort to a Plan B. Fortunately, other leasing companies in the area are not as moronic and clueless as the Residences at Stonebrook, so we were able to find a different apartment with more amenities at a better price in a matter of hours. After securing a different apartment, I did Stonebrook a courtesy by calling them to let them know their housing services were no longer needed, and to nobody’s surprise, they didn’t answer any of the five calls I placed. Please do yourself a favor and take your money and business elsewhere. This complex has given me the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. The complete lack of communication and ignorance from the leasing staff here has eliminated any chances of me moving here or to any complex managed by Morgan Properties ever again. I have lost hundreds of dollars because of these idiots, and they can’t even pick up the phone to act like they care! Hopefully this changes somebody’s mind about moving here, and if anyone from Morgan Properties or Stonebrook reads this to completion, I hope you never do this to any of your prospective residents again. What a simply disgusting way to treat people…."

She has given to us up to this time very nice place to live so far."
