"Genuinely horrible. If I could do zero stars I would. The place is disgusting with roaches, cigarettes, leaking plumbing, elevators never work and the leasing staff is horrendous. The one named Sarah is so beyond horrible and so is the other one. I had a much better experience with the previous leasing manager, Tameka, but unfortunately she has left and we are sadly stuck with these ones who absolutely terrible and rude and just bad humans in general. I want to break the lease so bad but I somehow got trapped in a $1350 monthly rent for a STUDIO. Parking is $200+ a month if you’re lucky to get a spot and the front desk are EAGER to tow you so just honestly don’t live here and if you for some reason decide too, be careful. - 903"
"What a great experience with 500 fifth apartments ..I got excellent service here and the manager Miss TAMIKA......She is very good manager and she solved all my problems in unit 404 apartment And she is very supportive and responsible manager..I really appreciate her .. Thank for your good service Miss TAMIKA"
"Stinky smelly. Dirty. No janitorial or maintenance. Right by downtown. Smells like cigarettes inside the rooms. Definitely not worth how much they are asking for. Roaches are still a problem. The apartments are “updated” in the classic landlord special. Yikes."
"TL;DR - Do not live here. I genuinely cannot imagine the positive reviews being real or by actual residents. Genuinely one of the worst living experiences in Nashville. I lived here when I first moved to the city in 2016. The management at that time was horrible and didn't care about the residents; only about keeping the place gilded to hide the actual awful conditions inside. The reviews mentioning the constant shuffle of AirBnBs are accurate. The walls are extremely thin, so you will hear anything and everything your neighbors are doing - which tourists to Nashville are frequently drunk and rowdy. AirBnBs were expressly forbidden in the leases, as well, but management clearly had no interest (and appears to still not have any interest) in enforcing that policy. I find it really strange reading these reviews that the 'owner' replies are telling people with poor AirBnB experiences to take that up with the AirBnB owner. Instead of, you know, wanting to figure out the units and ending the use of apartments for AirBnB. The parking situation sounds like it's gotten even worse than when I was there, which is impressive since it was awful then."
"We moved here from out of state and I wish we would have listened to the reviews. There is a serious roach problem throughout the whole building, even with pest control spraying occasionally. We had so many roaches living in our fire alarm that it would randomly beep constantly. There also were so many that they ruined my paintings by crawling inside them. (See photos) Then in the bathroom the ceiling was peeling with mold growing inside the vent. The mold eventually spread to above the tub before we cleaned it off. (Also see photos) While we lived there the elevators and washing machines were constantly broken and the roof caught on fire. There were also little issues like our mailbox key not being given to us for over a month and a switch up in apartments when we first moved in. It was overall so unbearable that we broke the lease and moved out. However the problems didn’t end there. We called and emailed several times asking how much we owed and were told by management that they would let us know. We checked our rent portal until the account no longer existed and wouldn’t let us access our information. Still no word. Then months later we get a notification from a debt collector that we owe over $2,000. We expected to pay this much to break the lease, but were never notified by management through a call, email or letter until they sent it to collections. We reached out again afterwards and still no word for them. Bottom line is don’t move here unless you want roaches, mold and dysfunctional management that will affect your credit score. Mind you we never missed a rent payment and were always kind despite the unlivable conditions."
