The Hamilton and Hume House Apartments 601 Press Place, Nashville, TN 37208

"I just moved in. Today I dropped my phone down the trash chute. When I sprinted to the office, it was 5 PM and the office was closed. I told them my deal, they didn’t even HESITATE a single second and ran with me to head to the dumpster. It was clogged. The managers, wearing clean outfits, grabbed a broom and poked at the clogged trash until it all tumbled down. After using “find my” they followed the sounds to find it after all of the trash fell. When I came downstairs, there it was, in his hand. This trash chute is as big as my apartment. They had NO reason to help me dig through that trash, but they did. The managers and staff at this property care about their tenants incredibly. This is probably why they’ve won awards. They did it all with a smile as I was freaking out and crying (and bleeding, as I was cut while jumping into the trash). This is the definition of going above and beyond. I’m going to love my stay here. Half the battle is having a good office when you find a place. If you’re looking. This is your place. Consider this 10 stars."

"I’ve been here 3 months and have nothing but great words to say about my home and the staff. Yes the lobby elevator has been down for about a month but there’s one literally 15 seconds away. Housekeeper is so nice and always smiling. Resident events are really fun. Who doesn’t like free food lol"

"I really regret my decision to live here. Do not be fooled by the nice reviews and the amenities (Management has submitted several 5 star reviews of their own building lol). For a "luxury" apartment, living here is anything but. Elevator has been broken for two weeks, the only working elevator smells like dog urine and it is hard to breathe. There has been an apartment-wide fly infestation that management has failed to fix despite multiple complaints from residents. Flies are literally flying in from the sink. Gross. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I cannot wait to for my lease to end."

"Let’s start off with the pros: The complex is clean and well maintained. I had a nice tour too. Cons: The property management was horrible at communication. I was ready to submit an application and move forward, but they would never follow up when I would call and leave voicemails. I would email the staff that I worked with and it took countless days to get a short response. If they had a better property management team i would of lived there in a second!"

"Have loved living here so far! Marianna, Anthony and Jared in the office have all been so helpful and friendly during every encounter I’ve had with them. It’s evident that they hold a high standard for the work they do and the community in general. Caleb in maintenance was great and came quickly when I needed an outlet fixed, and let my dog jump all over him with open arms (somewhat of a requirement when you enter our apartment). On top of the apartment property in general being gorgeous, the neighborhood is great and super walkable. Overall a great place to live and you absolutely get what you pay for when it comes to The Hamilton!"
