"WARNING!! Do not stay here unless you want to have your vehicle broken into and the hotel to not help you and say it’s not their problem. We parked in front of the door in the handicap space and we had to catch a plane at 3:30 am. Upon arrival people were rude and hated their job. Got passed that and went to room where it was ok at best. Woke up at 2:30 am only to walk out and see my truck and been broken into. Go back inside and am told they have no cameras and nothing they can do and if they didn’t advertise they didn’t have cameras this also probably could have been avoided. I luckily took my gun inside the room with me so the stole $500 and a gun clip. I go inside and ask if I could leave the gun in the safe because I’m having someone come pick up the truck and weapon. They told me no they would not. I then asked if I could rent a room to put it in until they got there and they could check out then. They told me no they don’t allow weapons although as u can see it is not safe at all. In all there were 10 vehicles broken into and 3 guns stolen. I was informed by the police that this happens all the time at this location. You would think they would have cameras at this point so we called and just asked ok can our room could be free and were told no it’s not there fault and we’re “sorry” it happened but is on no way their fault for us parking at their locations with no cameras installed. Kinda seems like it’s their fault as a camera would deter them from breaking in all the time. Stay at your own risk. Don’t know why more of the people aren’t writing reviews to help everyone else from staying here."
"My experience started great, as I was taken care of by the young gentlemen when I first arrived (give him a raise!). Unfortunately, it went downhill when I needed to change my check out... I didn't get the lady's name, but seemed like as soon as I told her my name, Oussama, the mood and energy changed immediately. With the storm coming in, I wanted to check out a day early to get home to my wife and son. My colleague told me he has a late check out for 2:30pm, so I requested the same. Instead, I was told I can only check out at 12pm and can pretty much take it or leave it unless I pay a half day rate... I would understand a typical late checkout charge ($30-$50) but with all the business travel I do, I've never experienced such push back on a small request. You'd think they'd be understanding given the current conditions. If my flight gets cancelled, they lost my business as I'll be making sure to stay elsewhere and will certainly choose one of the many nearby hotels on my next visit to Nashville. Luckily, my colleague was able to get my late check out processed after talking to her separately. I really hope it's not my name that made the big difference in her being flexible... UPDATE: after returning from my meetings, Edna was up front and made sure to let me know that she read my review and advised her supervisor of the situation. Amazing service and most of all, showed me that she cared. If my flight does get cancelled today, she has earned my business and I will return here for my stay. Thank you, Edna."
"So much noise comes in from the hallway. Housekeepers talking loudly and shouting down the halls at each other all morning long. The room locks don’t work correctly. You have to jiggle the inside handle multiple times just to get it to shut. It adds to the noise when everyone in the hall has to slam the door multiple times just to get it to close and lock in the mornings. You need to be able to solve a DaVinci puzzle to get the shower temperature to not ice you or scald you. If you’re going to keep charging Courtyard prices, you should at least maintain the essentials."
"Spent one night en route home. Clean, quiet, well-appointed rooms. Convenient lobby bar/restaurant serving light fare (tasty fries!). Joseth was mixing drinks, preparing food, and waiting tables all alone, but took great, cheerful care of us (and everyone else). Shuttle service was the only sour note. After check-in we drove six minutes to the airport to return our rental car, then waited 40 minutes and two phone calls for the hotel shuttle. They claimed "heavy traffic." Untrue. Next day we booked a shuttle to the airport. The driver dropped a passenger and sped away before we could get out the hotel's front door. We had to chase him down the driveway. He was apologetic, but apparently nobody told him he had a pickup. Just weird. And hopefully anomalous. In all other respects, a good value."
"I always prefer Marriott properties and I figured the courtyard wasn't going to be one of the higher-end hotels but I was pleasantly surprised at this location! Our suite was well appointed, looked very clean, and the bathroom had a modern looking shower. I would definitely stay here again if I come to the Nashville area!"
