Comfort Inn Nashville - Opryland Area 2460 Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN 37214

"Don’t ever stay here. This place was moldy and filthy, reeked of smells from over flowing garbage cans by every door. Third floor smelled like cigars. Room smelled like musty mold. The smell of cheap dollar store horrible cleaning products tried to cover up stench, made it even worse. Room was so small you could barely turn around in it. In the breakfast area there were huge puddles of water in the floor from the air conditioner. Guy at front desk was mean and rude. When I checked out I got my receipt and left, I got about one block away and my phone dinged alerting me of a new charge on my credit card. I saw it was the hotel for another $250 I turned around went back and asked what in the world, I already paid my bill, this must be a mistake. Older man at the desk yelled at me in broken English , YOU SMOKE. I politely informed him no sir my daughter and I do not smoke, he screamed back, GET OUT. I left without another word. I looked it up on the internet about what to do, I’ve never been in this situation, I don’t smoke. So I did what google said- try to call and resolve it with hotel management. I made three attempts at different times and days and all of a sudden nobody spoke even broken English and told me, “no understand.” So I had to spend more valuable time on the phone with my credit card company, they investigated and gave me a credit. Two months later hotel charged me again, but my credit card company had already blocked them. Watch your credit card at this place. I found out it is not even legal for them to place charges on your credit card without discussing it with you. I had just checked out, why did he wait until I left to add $250? Hmmm, sounds like fraud to me. Makes you wonder if this is a regular occurrence that goes unnoticed by other guests. But for me, I work hard for my money like we all do, and I’m watching for dishonesty. Do yourself a favor and NEVER stay here."

"We spent one night here on 11/22. Happy it was only one night as the hotel looked rundown and the shower was a dribble at best. Rooms comfortable but seemed very small."

"The rooms have plenty of towels and are reasonably clean. Coffee in the rooms is not great. The beds are comfortable. The parking lot is awful. If you have a tiny car, it's okay. The lot is small and not level. The hotel is close to all kinds of venues. There is one elevator, small and noisy. Update- elevator is less noisy. The staff are very polite and helpful."

"We stayed at this Comfort Inn recently for 3 nights. In that time we found the daytime manager to be indifferent towards the guests, the other front desk were more helpful and engaging. The fire alarm in our hallway was disengaged because the wall switch was broken for our whole visit! The elevator and the lobby bathroom were filthy for most of our stay. The hallway on our floor smelled like Marijuana our whole stay. The room was designed for 4 guests but poorly set up for them and the bathroom was barely adequate! Our garbage was not emptied once the entire stay! The pluses were it was close to the Grand Ole Opry, the shuttle to downtown was convenient and it was walkable to the Music City Bar and Grill. The breakfast was decent and the secondary staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Overall it serviced it's purpose but if you're looking for comfort or luxury this is not the hotel to pick. Definitely NOT a "Welcome Home!" feel!"

"It is a small lobby when you walk in. The front desk is nice. The room is clean feeling………but has a musky scent and moistness in the air. Beds are comfy and the amenities are nice. The air does not work you will sweat all night. Very loud road noise from highway. Some of the lights didn’t work in room. Breakfast was almost inedible. Overall okay experience for a decent location and at the right price."
