"The staff was fantastic. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel grounds and public areas are well kept. Breakfast is included and convenient. My only gripe, and it's a big one, is the valet only option for parking a car. You would expect this of a hotel in a city center and not one on the outskirts of town. Besides being a major pain, it's $38 a night plus tip. As nice as this place is, I won't be staying here again if I have a car. To be fair, I knew this going in but stayed anyway as my meetings were at this hotel."
"I don't like leaving totally negative reviews so here are the good and bad about this property Good: Newer property, clean large rooms Bad: Seems under staffed ( welcome to the new world of people not wanting to work) Breakfast was none existent during our two day stay , coffee machine was broken, sparse offering of items, minimal employees. Good: Location convenient to Vanderbilt and Centennial Property has no on-site parking, contract valet is currently $41 per night with tax AND attendants have a long jog to retrieve your vehicle. If it is busy expect a long wait to have your vehicle brought around. I will give the valet staff a positive review, they were very helpful but the bad setup of this property limits their ability to retrieve vehicles. OH, and make sure the door is closed on the key rack when you leave to get a vehicle."
"Very disappointed with this location. Stayed here 3 nights and almost everything was disappointing. Parking is valet only and costs an additional $38 per day. We arrived here at 10pm and nobody was outside to take the car. Waited 10 minutes and finally parked in the middle of the road to come inside and ask. Valet person inside said he would be right out. 5 minutes later he walked by and said hello to us but kept walking by. Another 5 minutes and we realized he's not coming back. It took almost 30 minutes waiting at valet for someone to take our keys! No cleaning crew will come by throughout your stay. You will not get fresh towels, you will not get coffee supplies, you will not have your bed made. They said it was policy to not come into the rooms with a kitchen. Thus you have to go to reception each morning and request everything you need and then carry it back yourself. Location is bad. Nothing is in walking distance. Breakfast closes at 10am but at 945am they were out of everything. Dried blood stain on my bed sheets. No water pressure in bathroom sink or shower."
"Horrible experience at this hotel. I stayed from 30th Dec till 1st Jan. Disrespectful staff with callous attitude, broken window blinds with no service for 2 days of stay. The staff was aware but still gave us the room. Bathroom had half filled soaps. inadequate towels. Breakfast was another super low experience. First day, it was taken out 10 min earlier than closing time when we arrived. No one in the staff was bothered. We arrived at 9:50 am in the area on a Sunday. Everything was out. No plates either. Second day, the breakfast was out as well. No milk before the time ended. And no one cared. My stay was miserable. Please read other reviews as lot of people are complaining about rude staff. This hotel has terrible management issues. Please avoid at all cost. I am a regular Marriott patron and will continue to stay with them but this hotel or brand is off my list forever. Ravi"
"If I could give this hotel less stars, I would. They have valet parking only which is ridiculously priced at $35/ night. Several times I left my car with attendants that smelled like weed, however I decided to not make an issue of that each time I dropped my car off in those circumstances. Everything was fine until one morning I picked up my car and there was huge scrapes and a dent in it. I have filed a claim and the valet attendant took pictures and promised their manager would call me, however after weeks of trying to get in contact they have conveniently not answered me back. Also, I was staying here on business and had to be at work at a certain time, I would request my car 20-30 min early but numerous times I would go downstairs for my car and the attendant would be playing on their phone and run to get it as soon as they saw me, almost making me late to work countless times. Not to mention, they almost lost my key numerous times because they would lose the paper tag they put on it and never relabel it. Additionally, one day I came back to my key not working and I was locked out of my room, they would not let me back in because my roommate’s name was on the room even though I gave them proof that I had permission to be there. They told me my roommate was in the room because of the color the door changed to each time I scanned my card, that made no sense whatsoever. After hauling my stuff up and down the floors and trying to get back in, I had to find a place to stay elsewhere while still paying for the room because my roommate was at work and couldn’t come back to let me in. Do not stay here unless you don’t care about your car being ruined or can handle terrible customer service."
