"I held a work retreat here for my team and it was great! Jordi was so helpful, and the Vault meeting room was excellent. It would easily fit a group of 15-20. We also stayed and the rooms are large and equipped like a small apartment. Would highly recommend!"
"We stayed at Mint House for 3 nights. It was a great experience. The room is spatial and clean. The location is great. Tommy and Cooper are very really nice. They always promptly addressed our requests!"
"WOW. This was such a gem of a find! We got the most amazing deal on a flash sale and stayed 4 wonderful nights. The location was perfect, just a 1/2 mile walk to Broadway but so much more to see on the way. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the attached gated parking lot was very convenient and made us feel very safe. The rooms themselves are gorgeous, and everything was pristine and clean upon our arrival. Towels were fresh and fluffy. The king bed and pillows were super comfy! We loved the shared patio sitting area and green space. My husband used the gym and said everything was in good condition. We have already talked about coming back next year, since we were so impressed with Mint House!"
"Pros: large clean rooms. Everything you need for a comfortable stay Cons: there is no direct way to reach the front desk. The call is generally routed to a call center to someone who hasn’t been to the property and is reading out from a script. The checkout experience was terrible. I had to extend my checkout due to a work emergency, I let the general manager know I’d need an additional hour. The GM was rude, showed lack of empathy and charged us $150 was the extension. In the hour between I had at least 4 people knock on my door for cleaning while I was on work calls. Bad attitude from the GM, so won’t be a repeat customer here."
"Overall, the hotel was good. The rooms are big, clean & have cool decor, full kitchen if you need it, etc. Location is good, about 2-3 blocks from Broadway & felt like a safe area. It's an uphill walk back to the hotel after a night out though so be wary of that. There is a publix and a few food options a couple blocks from the hotel in the other direction. Docking two stars for the following reasons: - Parking is NOT free. $40 per night, and they now have signs everywhere (doors, elevator, TV stands, etc.) reminding you to pay for parking or get towed. Front desk attendant didn't mention it when we checked in and she explained how to get into the lot & to park in any spot. We found out from the sign at the door to get into the hotel, so we went back & asked the front desk to confirm and said that we needed to pay & that it changed in April. It's understandable that parking in a secure, gated lot comes with a fee as all the other downtown hotels are similar. I'm annoyed because we specifically picked this hotel, which was more expensive than other options closer to Broadway, because of the free/gated parking. At the time I'm writing this, their website has absolutely no info on the parking so we incorrectly made the assumption that parking was free based on relatively recent reviews... To be fair, the parking fee was stated in the "arrival details" email a few days before arriving (which I skimmed through and missed), but I wish it was readily available info to be found before booking as we likely would have stayed elsewhere. Just feels a bit shady, as another money grab. "You can park in our gated lot with the code we give you, but you will be towed by the towing company we partnered with if you don't pay the fee." - Bedroom fan was loud and insanely fast on lowest setting. Setting 1/8 or so. It's a three-bladed fan so I think that's what caused the annoying buffeting sound. - Water pressure sucked. They have a giant tub & shower, that is also kinda ridiculously high to step into, but you need to stand directly under the shower head against the wall basically due to the low water pressure."
