Hilton Garden Inn Memphis/Southaven 6671 Towne Center Loop, Southaven, MS 38671

"Hilton Garden is typically a little nicer than many other Hiltons. This one is better than other Hiltons around. But not for the typical reasons (nicer rooms etc). The first room I was given was 348. Every morning around 6am, I was getting a smell of unburnt fuel into the room. I complained and maintenance tried to remedy it. Ultimately I had to move to another room which was much better(no more smell). Breakfast is decent for $10.00. Other amenities like gym, pool etc were excellent. Can’t ask for much more. The cleaning staff is great. They really made the difference here. Very accommodating, helpful and friendly."

"Make sure your room isn’t facing the interstate. If not, you won’t be able to sleep due to the constant traffic of 55. But that actually wasn’t the biggest issue. I get into my room and use the thermostat on the wall and turn the heater on. Only problem is, the thermostat doesn’t work. Quick call to have maintenance come up and turn on the unit from the actual unit. Only problem, there is no thermostat on the unit. So it blows all night long. Imagine waking up in hell and just having to turn the unit off because AUTO doesn’t work and who can sleep with the heater blowing on one setting all night. After a long drive and even longer work day, it wasn’t worth the hassle to fight with the front desk about the problems but this hotel has been added to my never again list. As a Hilton Diamond member I am very disappointed."

"Get here and parking lot is empty, I go in to get my room which I reserved last week. Show up and they don’t have any rooms available. Update, finally get a room had to get a manger to get me a room reception was to busy on their phones and talking to each other and tv can’t change channels, bought some drink for the week put them in the fridge, frozen and burst and you can’t change the temp of the mini fridge. Update 2 , came down stairs for breakfast and I have to pay for breakfast now at Hilton? Every other property I’ve been to it’s complimentary so confused there. It also wasn’t ready on time I was told it would be available at 7 it’s 7:30 they’re still setting up. I have to leave for work and don’t get to eat cause they don’t want to be on time. Last update thankfully, I left early in the morning and ask for a printed and emailed receipt front desk said she’ll send it later. Been an hour and still haven’t seen my receipt that is needed for work expenses. Called the front desk was told it’s coming and she’ll get to when she gets to it. It’s 4am there’s nothing else going on."

"Very nice hotel. The employees are very friendly and polite. They have chocolate chip cookies and lemonade out for you to enjoy. Would give 5 stars, but asked to have the bed made and new towels while we were out, got back @ 7 PM and room was the way we left it, went down to get towels.also they charge for Continental( 9 dollars)"

"Very nice stay in Southaven. The staff was really great! Even though the lobby was under construction, it wasn't dirty or noisy. The breakfast was generous, tasty, and a good value. The room was clean, and the indoor pool was fun for the grandson to play in."
