Homewood Suites by Hilton Memphis-Southaven

"LOVED this hotel!! The front desk was fantastic and SO friendly! Ms. Angela was the absolute sweetest and was the cherry on top of our stay! We got the bunk bedroom for a birthday sleepover for my son. This room sleeps 10 COMFORTABLY. The QUEEN bunkbeds are incredible, truly! The boys had so much space and room to play games and sleep. The 2 tvs in the room are great and were easy to connect to our personal streaming networks. We brought game systems as well and were easily able to connect them. The full kitchen and dining area was so helpful when feeding 6 kids! The bathroom was HUGE with plenty of changing space for the kids with seperate vanity so multiple people could get ready at once. The floorplan for these rooms is well thought out and perfect! The ceilings are incredibly high, with more than 4 feet between the bottom and top bunk and more than 7 feet above the top bunk. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool AND basketball court! Our room was across the hall from the pool and a very short walk to the basketball court. The included breakfast was THE BEST! Hands down! ENDLESS options and DELICIOUS! There is plenty of breakfast seating and several large wrap around booths that the kids loved. The question is not "will we stay here again?" because I CAN'T WAIT to stay here again!"

"The friendliness of the front desk staff will not be beat - I've never been greeted and treated so nicely, so kudos to those ladies! However, if you stay here keep in mind that it's directly in-line with the north-south runways at Memphis airport, so expect to hear FedEx 767s blasting the roof off on departure or approach, doesn't matter. And that goes well into the night. Travel with a white noise sound machine. Overall, pretty expensive for what you're getting (a mediocre bed with flat pillows) but finding somewhere outside of Memphis with shopping and restaurants nearby, this might be the place for you."

"I had nothing but problems staying at this hotel. The challeges could have been resolved and management could have communicated better. I am Diamond member and received poor service. Good luck to you if you are not."

"Not sure how I had such a bad experience with several good reviews to the contrary. Got into the room and smelled gas, tried to call front desk and the phone didn't work. Went downstairs and the maintenance man told me to fiddle with the thermostat from the on to auto, that still left me concerned, but he was trying to help and pleasant. Went to take a shower and there wasn't a single towel in the room, no linen of any kind. I went downstairs cuz I couldn't call and was asked how many towels I wanted, I told her the standard stock for a new room, she again said "how many do you want", that didn't sit well with me. When I did take a shower, the tub didn't look clean, so I cleaned it myself. Went to bed with my family at 10pm, and the room right next to our bedroom wall was having a childs party. The noise was incredible for hours, nobody could sleep at all and we had to be up at 5 pm. I knocked on the door at 11:30 pm and they said they'd keep it down, they didn't. I went downstairs to move rooms and they moved us at midnight to a different room with 1 less bed, so we all had to sleep in 1 bed. The breakfast was good and the parking was plenty. We come here 1x annually for a competition, and I won't be back. Lots of other options in the area."

"Excellent hotel with very clean accommodations that are suitable for families. Beds were all comfortable and flat (no lumps). Friendly employees. Breakfast was ok. Parking was easily available. Safe place to stay. Close to lots of things."
