"DO NOT STAY HERE. On 10/9/2022 my car was stolen from the parking lot. I called the police 8 times to report my car stolen before they eventually called me back. When I informed Toni Lazzaro (Apartment Manager) about my car being stolen she informed me that I’m one of many on the list whose car has been stolen, broken into, tires and rims stolen, or catalytic converter stolen. Even if you don’t own a Hyundai or Kia, your car WILL BE broken into. They have security at the front desk who’s either sleep, or on their phone majority of the time. Which means they’re not paying attention AT ALL to the parking lot cameras. The ICON parking garage isn’t any better. It’s supposed to be “secure” garage with a key entry. However the garage door is always broke which means IT IS LEFT OPEN FOR ANYBODY TO ENTER. I have seen trash and blankets in the garage so homeless people are living there. Not to mention THERE ARE NO SECURITY CAMERAS IN THE GARAGE. The only positive thing I can say is that maintenance is prompt with requests. Michelle was very nice during my tour, however she was extremely rude when I tried to get a new parking pass for my rental car BECAUSE MY CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THEIR LOT. She tried to charge me for another parking pass. It wasn’t until I reached out to Toni, who then reached out to corporate, that they waived the fee and was very apologetic. If you care about your safety and own a car, please DO NOT MOVE HERE. Try moving to Central West End if you want to be closer to downtown. **ATTACHED IS A PHOTO OF ONE OF THE CARS WHO’S TIRE/RIMS HAS BEEN STOLEN AND LEFT ON THE AXEL. THE OTHER PHOTO IS THE PARKING SPOT WHERE MY CAR WAS SORLEN.**"
"I have never written a review before, but if I were to share my experience at this place, I would strongly advise against staying here. I have been residing in this establishment since January 2022, and I can confidently say that it has been an absolute nightmare. In the span of my stay, I have received a staggering 46 emails regarding various issues such as smoking problems, trash concerns, water outages, and dysfunctional AC/heating systems. This sheer number of ongoing problems speaks volumes about the abysmal state of this building and the utter lack of competence displayed by the management team. Even on scorching hot days, when temperatures reach a sweltering 90 degrees, they would have the audacity to shut down the cooling systems for days, not just once, but repeatedly every two months. It's beyond comprehension! The building manager's response to this recurring issue was nothing short of absurd. In one of her emails, she had the audacity to suggest using a fan or a portable air conditioner as a solution. It's abundantly clear that they couldn't care less about the well-being of the residents; their sole focus seems to be squeezing every dime out of us. As if the exorbitant rent prices weren't enough, they shamelessly charged me an additional $80 for a TV service that I never even used. Can you believe it? On top of that, my rent skyrocketed from $775 to a whopping $1024, and mind you, the apartment I was provided with is smaller than most hotel rooms. To add insult to injury, they don't even offer access to printing services. And when I asked Michelle, a staff member, for a few copies, she flat out refused. I'm not talking about asking for 50 copies; it was just a simple request for multiple copies, and they couldn't even accommodate that. If you have the misfortune of working full-time, good luck trying to catch any member of the management team in the office. They claim to close at 5 pm, but I can't count the number of times I went down at 4 pm only to find an empty reception area. It's utterly frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, they outsource the parking garage to a third-party company, and that gate breaks down every other month. I once found myself unable to leave the premises because of the malfunctioning gate. I had to resort to taking an Uber to work, and there was absolutely no way to contact the management for assistance. The provided contact number merely leads to a voicemail box. It's truly disheartening to witness Toni and Michelle, who supposedly manage the property, handle issues with such incompetence. Coming from someone who works in the hotel industry, it's deeply saddening to see the absence of genuine hospitality and care for those who have entrusted them to provide a home. I understand that not all issues are within their control, but a little bit of empathy and consideration go a long way. Unfortunately, the staff here seem completely emotionless and are quick to belittle you. If you're in search of a place to call home, I implore you to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and disappointment by avoiding this place at all costs."
"Best safest near Saint Louis university. It has key card open option to enter the building and it has best view to the downtown"
"I lived at Midtown for about two years , I absolutely loved living there, the Staff was very friendly, Location was great, and I loved my apartment. Maintenance Staff were also great. This building is made up of Studio Apartments and a few One Bedroom Apartments, The One Bedroom is well worth it for the Privacy . Had they had two bedrooms and a bonus room I would have stayed longer. The downtown view is breathtaking, clean and 1st class gym, and not to mention the courtyard beautiful. Location, Location, and free parking, a great place to live!"
