"The WORST place ever! The staff there are very very rude. I don’t know if it’s because I am black or what but they were very mean and aggressive towards me. I stayed there for about 4 weeks. The housekeeper came every Wednesday and did nothing but make the bed up without changing the sheets and maybe giving us clean towels. We had to beg for towel paper. It was myself, my husband and our two kids in one room. And they complained about the room but I kept asking them to send me a vacuum or a broom and they never did. I finally checked out today and of course they didn’t give me my 100$ deposit back because the room was dirty and they found an old cigarette that was put out OUTSIDE and brought in. Oh and they smelled smoke which was a complete lie. They did everything they could to find anything to NOT give me my money back. I only stayed here this long because my house was getting work done to it and I had no choice and didn’t wanna spend lots of money at the fancy hotels. But man do I regret coming here.! Never AGAIN! The owners and staff are all family and they all live there. I think it was a race issue with me. They were Indian people and their English was very broken and came off very very rude. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I give this place a 0 out of 10."
"Everything about staying here was amazing until I checked out. It states on the website and I was told that the refundable deposit might take 7 days. I've stayed before and never had it take longer than a couple days. This time I waited the 8 days, no refund. Went to the Oyo and was given a receipt showing that the refund was deposited on the day I checked out, which it wasn't. I called Oyo Customer Service and they told me it would take 14 days even though I was told 7 days. Why it's necessary to keep $100 deposit for 14 days, not including weekends, I'll never understand. Beware if you are counting on having your deposit refunded in a timely manner"
"I stayed here for 5 months, strictly just because of the lower rates. The first week I was there, I informed the desk staff that the smoke detectors in the stairwell, had dead batteries. I notified them 3 different times, to include the maintenance staff. They NEVER did get replaced. The ice machine NEVER did work. I ended up buying my own. The small refrigerator in my room, worked better as a freezer. On it's warmest setting, it stayed at 34 degrees, so I ended up bringing in my own mini-fridge. I ended up washing my own sheets and pillow cases. At one point, I had had the same sheets for two weeks, so that is when I started washing them myself. This was the first hotel I have stayed at in 4 years, that didn't discount the rooms, once a renter had been there so long. Like I said above, I was there, in the same room, 5 months! The TVs often didn't like to recognize the remote. You had to unplug the cable box, so it could "reset." When you hit the "menu" button, you had to sift through hundreds of "info-mercial" channels in order to find a normal channel. The internet connection sucked where my room was located. Rarely could I stream movies or a ballgame on my laptop, because I could not find anything on the TV to watch. Didn't find out about the laundry facilities, until the last month I was there. Staff said nothing when I checked in."
"Low cost for a 4-night stay and I was happy to have a fridge. Not a fan of the surprise deposit and felt the need to notify the front desk of any issues that existed prior to entering the room. For instance, the window pane would rattle freely when the door closed, and didn't seem secured to the frame enough that I worried it could break. I got a smoking room consciously but goodness did those rooms smell. I left the 4th day of my stay with an asthma attack. When I asked for a replacement keycard I got one but thenperson working was under the impression that I had done so before. Ultimately, this place is worth it if you can book more than 2 weeks out. Otherwise, maybe not! Oh and the poor couple below either had no idea that everybody could hear them screaming all night, or they didn't care. But the man in the relationship was very upset that his partner pulled out his hair. I wanted to call to complain about the noise but there were no phones in the room and I would have had to go by the door the couple had been slamming if I wanted to make sure the front desk knew. But when I peaked my head out the door, I could see the staff watching and not doing anything so I figured theynhad done what they could. The screaming just went on late into the night and started early the next morning."
"Stayed here as part of an American experience trip where we were going to places uniquely American. This was our Motel stop. The Motel was particularly helpful as we were forced for various reasons to change our booking twice, each time they allowed the change of reservation without fees. The entrance to all rooms is made through a central lot that can only be reached by going through a road going under one part of the building. This provides a sense of being removed from the outside and does make the place feel somewhat safer than other Motels I have stayed at in the past. The rooms were quite inexpensive and very functional. They are also extremely basic. Do not expect any extras. The beds are very comfortable. The TV large and with a good range of channels. There was noise from the people upstairs who were doing I have no idea what. It sounded like they were building something with metal parts hitting the floor all night. Distracting but livable. The main downside is that they were not impeccably clean. The floor and bathroom had obviously had a quick once over. Found a couple hairs in the bathroom. No one had cleaned under the bed in months if not years. Thick dust and many items down there including trash and clothing articles. The location is very close to a highway and near commercial areas making it very convenient."
