"NEVER stay here!!! The two times I've stayed here they are INFESTED with bed bugs and roaches, the rooms are dirty and unsanitary, then to top it off the men that work there are extremely RUDE and will try bursting into your room at 9 in the morning while refusing to allow you to close the door even if you aren't fully clothed!!! They are disrespectful and disgusting. This place is a health hazard at this point."
"I'm new to Indian culture. Want to know more...hope to be invited to dinner soon. The baby girl here is absolutely adorable...she won't let go of my fingers. I think she's going to be a doctor. It's in her family . I feel like family is happening here. Feeling blessed. ."
"Would rate negative if possible. Found a huge bedbug crawling across our blanket in the middle of the night. Packed what little stuff we had back up and planned on stopping at the front desk on our way out. Manager was no help. Said he had to physically see one to do anything about it and to come back in the morning to speak to the owner. So now I'm either out the money I paid or the money for gas to come back here. Either way I won't be back and I don't advise anyone else to stay here."
"Very happy with my stay! Owner and management have been very nice. Property is old but management has kept it clean and up to date. Highly recommend if you’re looking for affordable stay in quad city area!"
"Here’s the thing: was the QC Stay Inn the worst paid lodging experience I’ve ever had? Yes. Did it fill the needs I had on a hot Saturday in Moline? Kinda. The pretense being me and my buddy had just finished a weeklong bike ride across Iowa, and the prospect of sleeping in an unshaded open field next to a parking lot sounded about as appealing as biking 400 miles in July. So after a quick search I found the QC Stays Inn, and a room for roughly $60. Absolutely smashing. I had read the reviews about the property, just to ready my expectations, and they were abysmal: Bedbugs, bad management, and a lingering smell of cigarettes permeating every room, reported basically every customer for the past two years. Sounds great. We arrived, and checked in with our Expedia booking, which was met with some suspicion from the front desk clerk, who briefly tried to make me pay again for the room. After some swift and unwavering communication he found our room and proceeded to flatten and shove a roll of toilet paper through a small slot in the plexiglass wall that separated the lobby from the waiting room of the hotel. He also handed us one towel that looked like it had done a tour in Vietnam and two bars of soap each about the size of a potato chip, and directed us to our room. Hopes were still high, because I really only wanted three things from this hotel: a shower, a place to plug in my phone, and AC. Wi-Fi would be icing on the cake. We opened the door to our room and were hit with a wall of two varieties: first, a cold blast of AC, which was followed immediately by the strongest smell of cigarettes I have even experienced outside of a Vegas casino. The room had a no smoking icon on the door, but the previous tenets obliviously had ignored this rule, and it smelled like my high school lunch lady had setup shop here after her shift and ran through 5 packs of Camels every night for the past decade. The bathroom smelled worse. But the ac ran cold and quiet. So it worked. I did a quick check on the bed to see if the bedbug rumors had any truth, but couldn’t find any. Regardless we both chose to sleep in our sleeping bags and pads on the floor rather than risk exposure. The room was decidedly shabby, with stains on every surface, a broken lamp shade, and a surprisingly diverse ecosystem of dead bugs in the corners, but they we’re already dead so I wasn’t going to worry about it. The shower water was hot and plentiful, the plugs worked, and best of all it wasn’t a tent in a field in 95 degree heat, so I was grateful. The cigarette smell was slightly less noticeable after an hour in the room (though I’m sure it has penetrated my clothes and bags to some extent), and we kept the room at a lovely 64 degrees for most of the stay. The Wi-Fi was awful. It was impossible to connect to, and when you did the signal was weak and would drop every few seconds. So no icing on this cake. So if you are a sweaty cyclist who has to catch a 4am flight out of MLI the next morning, this place works great. It’s literally a Hundred yards to the airport, and the restaurant next door was great. It has AC, electricity and showers, so it was muted bliss for our brief stay. Will I ever go back? Not for all the money in this world, but it was ok for what I needed it to be. I’ll report back if I get bedbugs (or lung cancer)."
