Wonderful crew to rent from, I have paid off quite a few items and when I want something specific they do the best the can to find the item, or something similar, and get me a great price!"

"I ordered a new TV stand and fireplace about 2 months ago and I was brought a used beat up fireplace and a scratched up TV stand. I was told that new ones were being ordered and would be delivered when received. I have since offered to keep the stand with a new fireplace with a remote control like i asked for if they would reduce the price on the stand and was told that they could not do that. I'm more than willing to work with RAC but I've got no satisfaction in this matter. And I've already paid a substantial amount on it waiting on the replacements. So I feel like I'm to invested to just return the items and that I may be stuck with a beat up fireplace and scratched up TV stand. PLEASE HELP"

"I am unable to find a place to make a formal complaint, so I will do it here. The people at the Crowley store are absolutely vile. Despite telling them literally ELEVEN times now that I no longer am paid on Mondays, they never change my autopay and then are rude to me when my payments are late. They tell you one thing one day, and then deny it the next. My final straw was today. I am fed up with the lies and so when I went to return my merchandise I recorded the interaction so I would have absolute proof of what was said and done. Not even 10 minutes after leaving the store, I have a voicemail from a different employee claiming that I just “walked in and dropped the merchandise and ran out” and that I was still liable for it because I didn’t give them any information. I have proof that is not what happened. I called the store to ask what the problem was and to let them know that I have the interaction recorded on my phone. “Oh I don’t know who told you that cause that isn’t what anybody said” well guess what? I have it being said in a voicemail on my phone. They told me it was fine to return my merchandise by end of day today because I’ve had a sick baby in and out of the hospital this week. Yet they then claimed today that I’ve been saying I’d return it for two weeks. Strange since I have the receipt for the payment from last week. And the phone has only been locked by rent a center since Monday. Not to mention that I’ve been being told since Thursday of last week that someone would be scheduling me to have my dryer looked at because it isn’t working properly and yet nothing. But at this point, I don’t care and I don’t want them coming out. I don’t want these people in my home. As soon as I am able to find a new washer and dryer, I will never interact with these people again. They prey on people that are poor and don’t have another option, and then want to treat them in a way that is absolutely disgusting."

"I purchased two things from the store in the last year. I've had great experiences with all the regular employees. Like wonderful experiences. Great group of people. The manager of the store however is the rudest person I've experienced in a long time. Now that I just did the purchase early option for the second itemthat I bought from the store this year. I will probably look at best buy or Aaron's for a new dryer instead of going through this store specifically because of the manager."

"I’ve been a customer of Rent A Center for over 30 years and since moving to Fargo their Service Sucks.. I have had nothing but problems with Rent A Center. The new manager Melissa tells a lot of lies. The district manager keeps sticking by her side not investigating the matter. Thinking I’m a customer that will fold or go away… I’m not going anywhere. My lap top broke I was paying for it while it broke I complained it’s finished paying for. And I was told by Melissa I have to get a new lap top they will not honor their insurance because of cost. So I have a new lap top. My Dryer not working I let her know she claims to have come out several times to replace but yet put a n order in the system to fix. I have spoken to her and the district manager who verbally stated that the information Melissa gave was incorrect but nothing done. I can’t trust Melissa and have asked for this to be escalated and have been told to try to resolve with the store. The best part is yet to come when I go to court and prove what I said to be correct since I recorded the entire conversations My money means something to me so your business will certainly adhere to policy and procedures and correct your staff."
