The Cove on Thirteen Apartments

"I’m a current resident, lived here for almost 4 years. I’ve been without heat for 3 weeks now with no updates on when it will be fixed and on top of that they keep charging me for renters insurance when I provided proof that I have my own. I was supposed to receive reimbursement for the money they kept charging me but 3 months later and nothings been handled. Every time I call the leasing office the property manager is never there to handle the issue himself."

"This place is terrible. The new management worries about people you have inside of your own home that you pay rent. instead of fixing things n my apartment so I can stop living n a dump. My floor inside my bathroom is uneven. My tub fills as I shower so I can’t shower without standing n a puddle of dirty water. My sink n the bathroom leaks and I have to keep a bowl or a cup underneath to catch the water. I moved inside this apartment with no knobs on my kitchen cabinets. My vents inside my apartment leaks out yellow liquid out each vent Thur out my apartment when I have the heat ac on which might be messing with my breathing Iand lungs .The new apartment manager is big headed and think he’s sombody I guess because he works at apartment complex and just likes talking over people . And all I want is to have a complete living space while I stay here not to mention I pay 1200 a month for the dump. I reached out to corporate also about this and this certain person I’m waiting to hear back and until then. I will keep writing reviews and keep speaking my mind. I have family members Thur out this complex also that have similar problems it’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. And if this new manager keep watching me. And worrying about what and who I have over my home that once again I pay rent for I will file harassment charges with a lawsuit. I’ll attach pictures at the bottom to see for your self. Here we go a couple hours later and I gotta add to it because I’m being harassed again by the new property manager. I don’t even know his name because he won’t tell me nobody n the office will again. On 1/6/2024 He placed a letter on my door saying I need to pay rent my rent is paid and I have the stubs to prove it I will add pics at the bottom to show. I’ve kept all my receipts and recorded conversation and I will be moving foward with this I’m being harassed. My payment was signed and dated by they office at this point he’s trying to steal money from people And he’s doing this because I spoke my mind he already called the police on me and when the police came to my door they laughed at him. Saying they was called for nothing and that he wasted they time. I’m irritated and disappointed. They need professional and highly graded people to work here not people with low self esteem. I will be taking legal action Monday 1/8/2024"

"STAY AWAY Just moved in on 12/11/23 and have regretted every minute of my decision. the apartments are architect to say the least. laying $1300 a month and my shower won’t drain, instead of fixing drawers they screw them shut, and when a random $150 gets charge it’s almost impossible to get a hold of anyone to find out why and no one is ever in the office building. the front door to my building is broken and instead of fixing the lock they just make us all leave open the street door, at all hours of the night and day. and most of my windows don’t have screens!"

"I’m going to give a more detailed review! When I calm down and it’s not going to be good! My heat still isn’t working! OK I went to pay my rent on the 27th. When I go online my rent is still not paid. I like the fact that my rent be paid five days in advance and shows. Also I have been here eight months my heat is still not fixed, My air condition is still not fixed. My hot water tank is still not turned up like I asked. I do not understand what is going on why do they keep changing management in the office? It says that rent is 925 for one bedroom but then there are things that makes it more like you pay for gas. And also on your light bill, you pay for gas because it is a certain type of electricity to run this gas! Electric company and they so why Do I have to pay them gas As well as my electric bill going up Because of the fact that we have a space heating Apartment it shows on my electric bill as I was pointed out! Other than that this is a nice And quiet apartment building they do not have any bugs I like it but I feel like I’m being scammed! Also, Heaters are still not working, but I’m kind of glad because that Go up even more! None of my wall heaters work Properly"

"ShaRhonda was extremely helpful with helping me figure out which unit would be best for me. I talked with one of the tenant's and they had nothing but great things to say about the place! So far I recommend this property!"
