Baymont by Wyndham Detroit/Roseville

"Not a great experience. Wasn't expecting a luxury stay, but this was very disappointing. Room was dirty, carpeted floors were sticky, shower head held on by tape, bathroom door someone had punched through and one side was "fixed" with duct tape (but not the other side). Had to wake up night manager just to check in as we arrived late due to a snow storm. Will not return."

"Beware of this hotel. Found multiple roaches during my stay, but I understand, you get what you pay for so I didn't make a huge deal about it. Here's the real kicker though, these scam artists kept my $50 deposit upon check out, said they could tell there was smoking in the room. I am a non smoker! Lol. If the room smelled like smoke, which it did when I first went in, it was certainly not caused by me!!! So when you check in, just know you won't be getting your $50 deposit returned."

"The Baymont could be better for out-of-town travelers. It needs much-updated work, such as carpet, curtains, and bed posts. Roaches in the tub, I couldn't stay the required length of time. I couldn't stomach it, and I had to find other accommodations. I pray that they can get the needed renovations. The staff was friendly and understanding."

"Never have I ever...this will be a long review as I have much to say. Have not found one thing to be happy about. Everything in our room was dirty or broken. The phone is missing buttons and is plugged in, but doesn't have dialtone or service. Maybe it's one of the missing buttons? Our toilet screams every time it's flushed, but maybe it's an alarm because the toilet isnt even bolted to the floor...sit gently, my friends. Sit gently. Sounds like when you let the air out of a balloon. The floor is sticky and filthy. Stains on carpets in the room and hallways. Fridge is broken. No coffee maker or ice bucket. Registered for 3 people yet only 2 towels. Our chair is old, broken and some disgusting stains on the seat. Gross liquid running down the headboard. Which brings me to the box o' death - aka elevator...the jump and violent "clunk" it makes when you get in or it starts to move...stay out if you have a heart condition or claustrophobic. Someone gonna get stuck in there soon... The "business center" is an old particle board desk with no computer, monitor or printer. Tables are sticky. Breakfast selection is minimal. Garbage overflowing. Half the chairs are still atop the tables and it's nearly 9am. As I was eating my breakfast, a group of children came down to eat. Two of the hotel ladies tag teamed these children, questioning them about how many kids are in their room and harassing them so badly, the older sisters told their younger siblings to just throw away what they were eating and go back to their room - hungry. If the establishment has issues, they need to take it up with the parents - I'd say call their room, but their phone probably doesn't work either - or go to their room. It is not the children's responsibility. Yet as I'm sitting here eating my "breakfast", a homeless man who isn't paying for a room is eating at least 3 times more than those kids had been attempting to eat. If they have an arrangement with this man, that's great, however, he isn't a paying guest and is being treated better. Wyndham, check out this property because it does not live up to your standards by any means. This establishment should be ashamed of themselves and spend more time on the real issues rather than their manufactured issues."

"Front desk person was super nice. The room, not so nice. There's a full length mirror in the room and it looked like someone brushed their teeth in front of it for a week and it wasn't cleaned. I found a fake eyelash in the bed, so obviously they don't change the bedding. Stains all over the carpet. Can marks on the bed end tables so obviously they don't clean those either. You get what you pay for. This place is gross and they don't clean."
